Stenning's Bakery and Cafe in Sutton

Visited this splendid bakery at Carshalton Beeches for a coffee and possibly something else from their extensive range of pastries and cakes baked on the premises. A family run business which offers take away food, freshly baked bread and rolls, breakfasts morning coffee, lunches and afternoon tea options to sit in the cafe or out. Fantastic service from friendly staff. Please visit if you are in the area, you will not be disappointed

A super friendly local bakery, they were extremely accommodating in providing donuts for our wedding. We requested a variety of versions of classic Stenning bakery favourites and they provided numerous samples for us to try, and continued to perfect their creations. Pick up was very easy on the day, and we were so happy with the final donuts. Our guests loved the display, and loved the donuts even more! Thank you so much.

This is a great family run business. You can tell by the queues how popular it is locally for bread and cakes.I eat in the cafe side every now and then, and the full English breakfast is one of the best.

Delicious pastries and coffee. I have already tried to buy 3 times and definitely in none of them have I been disappointed, the pastries are noticeable that they are fresh and homemade, a true delicacy. The staff is always very attentive and friendly. It is definitely the best bakery in and around Carshalton Beeches.

Excellent have been going there for over fifty years I now live in Cornwall and pick up my bread small bloomers they freeze well. I can only go when I am passing nearby when visiting friends. Cannot find a baker's any where down here to touch them. Staff are always lovely.Doughnuts super. Sticky buns fantastic.

Walked up to this bakery after dropping my car at Banstead Road Garage, to get something for breakfast. It was already busy before 9am, lots of nice pastries and sandwiches on display, although I was a bit confused cos they didn't have croissants. Ordered a raisin snail and a Nutella donut, both were delicious. The donut had A LOT of filling, and a traditional donut texture, not extremely light and fluffy like most of them nowadays. Seems they were busy for a reason!

Absolutely fantastic place to visit with very friendly and helpful staff.Myself and my fiance turned up to eat in the restaurant but it had closed!The wonderful chef managed to make one more meal especially for us, a very kind and unselfish act in this time.I would highly recommend this place.Also the bakery has an amazing display if fresh breads and cakes, there goes my diet. ;)

I have been coming here for Saturday morning breakfast for a while. Superb always and a great menu. All cooked fresh to order. Nice coffee and cakes too

Yes, the cakes and sandwiches are great and the atmosphere brilliant but what makes Stennings afternoon teas a must is that you are treated like one of the family - they make the afternoon really special- if you are local then there is no reason why you should not give them a try.
