Really lovely village pub wuth a friendly and welcoming landlord. He gave us a delightful series of historical anecdotes about the pub and local sites - the pub has been sympathetically refurbished during the lockdown era Thankfully it has not lost its authenticity as a traditional village pub and we hope to return sometime soon for a happy pint or two. !!!

Lovely, friendly village pub with great home cooked food. Ideal for a couple of hours with friends.

Had a great lunch here today. Delicious "home cooked" food,, very reasonable prices and a friendly welcome. Will definitely be back. Pleased to be the first to try the banana and pecan cake pudding with custard .

Great food at sensible prices. Good selection of drinks. Staff really friendly and helpful. Beautiful outside, nice on the inside. Driven past this pub for years and finally went in. Very impressed.

Went for a quick Saturday lunch. Friendly welcome and fabulously fresh sandwiches. Excellent chips too! Amazing floral display. Highly recommend here.

Visited this little pub after skydiving, lovely home cooked food, Real Ale and really lovely landlady...other guests were also really friendly and welcoming...definately coming back again!!!

Classic British pub with good selection of drinks. Friendly and unique atmosphere. Perfect for chilling in the afternoons and meeting kind local people.

A real local. Good friendly atmosphere with nice staff. The fire is lovely in the winter. Nice place to sit outside when the weather is good and someone has done a lovely job with the plants. The best thing about this place is that it's not been McPubbed, it's genuine and a place where the community meets.A good cheerful place 😊

Had some wonderful nights in here with good friends and the staff are superb, excellent at their jobs and lovely and chatty. The music was awesome to say the least and live bands that they have are just excellent!!! It's a small place but that just makes it all the more cosy and better atmosphere for the live bands. Parking can be a little tricky as they do not have a car park and it's street parking only.
