This place has gone down hill big time. Visited yesterday with my daughter. Ordered food & drinks on the app, food came out after 20 mins, no drinks...had to go to the bar & ask for the drinks 25 mins later, one they got wrong....it wasn't mega busy & there was plenty of staff, very young people....obviously a very high turnover of staff....found the pub dirty with food all over the floor. Tables not cleared or sanitized, the menus are always dirty & sticky. Think it's high time this pub improves on the cleaniness & give their staff proper training as most of the staff yesterday didn't know what they were doing especially the ones that were serving drinks ordered from the app.

We have visited the place for Sunday lunch. The place is full of space. Some seats have modernized with electric plug and USB chargers.A good choice if you want to work with your laptop and a pint (not just coffee)

Went out to celebrate with friends for first time in years and have an assistant 🐶 dog. The staff where great and accommodating for Darcie. Thank you for your help and support as many places still refuse entry as have no understanding of why people will mental health need support. Thank guys.

There are those that sneer at Wetherspoons, but I have always found their restaurants a good place to eat for not a lot of money. While the food is not 'amazing' I have never had a problem with any of their meals and, in fact, one of the best beef burgers I have ever had was in the Horsham branch.Even when busy, the staff are friendly and polite.I've eaten at the Sutton branch on several occasions and have always been happy with the food and service.I don't use the app to order as, I prefer human contact. I tried it once but found it awkward to use: I think it would work better if all the items on the menu had a number, which you then entered into the app to place your order.

Some people are still a bit critical of Wetherspoons. If they saw through this they'd know that quite a few of them are v nice and welcoming, this being one. Take away the fact it's my local one this is a nice place to chill or meet friends in. I've always found staff v friendly & helpful. Today i went in just to have a light breakfast and some down time. I had a bacon and egg muffin and 1 hash brown with 2 cups of cappuccino (could have had more in the deal) for £3.40 . BARGAIN! Food and drink was good. Service was quick through the App & it was v plesant in there for an hour. Just what i needed. Staff were friendly as ever. It's only 3 mins walk from The Station and worth a visit. Guinness is good in there in my experience and there's always many ales / lagers to choose from. If you want shots they're available too . Place is also pretty clean including gents toilets. Avoid busy times(Friday & Saturday night) ,as it can get quite busy. There are plenty of seats though and enough Standing areas in normal non rush hour times. Enjoy!

Spoons is Spoons....That said , staff were really friendly, quick service with a smile. Even kicking out time the guy was all smiles.Let down with the sticky table, the smell as well as the fact they don't sell draft Heineken or Kronenburg here.Food was actually pretty good no thrills 3 for £12 but tasted decent. The spoons app is of course a bonus and the service from that was also very quick. Arguably the cheapest pub in the UK.

Not been here for far too long, met for quick lunch catch up with the intention of moving on. Got comfortable as the drinks flowed so stayed until 6-ish. Previously came on Fri evenings so saw a different crowd, but still the same relaxed, pleasant buzz.

Visited 23/04/22 for a drink with family member. Bar assistant really friendly. Found table easily despite being quite busy. Paid tapping card on device. (Pub has an upper level towards rear with several booths for family/friend groups, along with doors leading to a beer garden; outside seating also available at front of pub. Toilets also on upper level on right-hand side. Hot & cold snacks & meals available. Part of Weatherspoons group.

Security who not bothered to face the street just bounced us away by actually without bothering to turn around from his job and turned us away by saying you too drunk to come in, then let girl who was clearly over the influence straight back in to the pub. Clearly if your skirt is short enough it fits. Next time I will wear my kilt. Been drinking here for 20 years just shows the demise or integrity of the staff on shift. But sure it will be just passed over as one of those things. Signs why pubs on way back out out

When I went to visit this Wetherspoons, it was very busy, so I did have a little trouble finding a table. All I ordered was a drink and it came very quickly. This was the reason why I gave it a four star rating. Well done guys and gals.
