An authentic, Bengali diner with food on display to choose from. The beef curry was wonderfully aromatic and savoury. The ocra dish was "hot" but lemon calmed it down.

If you have affection for hot food then here you can stop. In the heat and sweat, your taste buds may work out very rare touch of authenticity of Bengali street food here in UK. But don’t define your opinion about Bengali food by the taste of the menu you see here only. Its only a little touch of exotic Bengali dishes.

Wandering Brick Lane and hungry, I'm not sure why I picked this place. I asked the man behind the counter what he would recommend and I walked out with some lamb curry and spinach/potato. Probably not that adventurous, but it was fantastic. And spicy! Grabbed an IPA from across the street to cut the meal and it was perfect.

Please never go to this hotel. It s the worse place in the entire world.

I would never stay here and actually just walked out!!Unfortunately there is no zero option for star rating.The 'reception' is in a restaurant underneath, I was told to sit down, no explanation as to why. Didn't feel safe, and once I was finally shown the room I thought there's no way I'm staying here!! I had to pay 4 times as much to find another hotel, but money well spent.

The place is a rough gem. It's not pretty and the staff are a little gritty. This is OK. Their beef curry dish and an okra dish is flawless. Really delicious and worth a visit.

Delicous food, really enjoyed the roast chicken. Being a Bangladeshi myself it's really hard to find a traditional bengali cuisine. Out of all the restaurants in bricklane this had most flavour, perfect level of spice. If your looking for traditional Bangladeshi food this is the best place by far. It may not look as fancy as the other restaurants but definitely tastes the best. Highly recommend.

This traditional authentic Bangladeshi restaurant has all the flavours to remind you of good old home cooked food. The lamb chop curry was lovely and full of flavour. Portion sizes are great and enough to fill you up. I’d suggest you try a few dishes to get a taste of each. Defiant recommend.
