I went just before the closing time therefore there were no toppings left however, I enjoyed the fresh waffles here. I also wanted to get cookie dough but this was also out of stock. They have seating and the shop is clean and well kept and the service was good too. They also accept card here so that makes it more convenient. Sadly it is on a busy main road therefore parking can be an issue. Overall I would recommend (just not before closing).

Caribbean fine dining freshly cooked food on the menu and good cocktails. Ok service and ambiance, sweet reggae music in the background. Grand piano played on Saturday's which will resume again for Valentine's.If you drive parking is an issue limited spaces pay and display only. Double yellow lines and prohibited areas in operation. Engaging transport or use cab services would be a better choice.

I throughly enjoyed the food, cocktails and ambience of this restaurant. We had the privilege of meeting the two sister's that own Ayannas - one who is the chef and the other is the maître d.One of the best Caribbean restaurant that I have been to in London and a welcome addition to restaurants in East London.I have already recommended this restaurant to my friends.

A beautiful restaurant with quality food that is so tasty it makes the whole table go silent. We had the curry goat and jerk chicken mains with sides, we also tried the cocktails. Some of the best Carribbean food we've had and perfect cocktails. The atmosphere is sophisticated and also relaxed and comfortable at the same time. We highly recommend this place. Very well worth a trip even if you don't live in that part of town. Thank you so much Ayannas for looking after us.

Inflexibility around food options for bookings of over 6 people. They allowed my friend to book a table of 4 and 8 but intentionally separated our party knowing the visit was for a birthday dinner. There was a table set for two right by our main table for 8 which was empty all night. This was clearly done to spite the celebrant for not opting for the £60 per head set menu which had a limited menu and no vegetarian option.A waiter brought the table beside us over to accommodate our request to sit together but another colleague came back and removed the table, this whole experience was incredibly hostile.I just hope our food and drinks were not tampered with as the spirit in which we were served was very negative and hateful.I would not recommend this place if you have a vegetarian within your party of 7 or more people as their stringent ‘rules’ will not accommodate to their dietary needs.Such a shame to have experienced this poor example of customer service but glad to know where not to book in future, this is a view shared by our party of 10 which will of course have an impact on the business as our experience is shared with friends and loved ones.Hopefully there is an improvement in future with regards to behaviour and flexibility of staff as the reasons given for not allowing us to be seated together without the purchase of the set menu were unacceptable. They said larger groups tend to stay for longer causing them to miss out on accepting more visitors hence the enforcement of the £60 set menu. However, had we been sat together we would have ordered more items, both food and drink, but I hope their plan to capitalise on celebrants works for them.

Had a terrible dining experience, may be one of the worst ones.We were celebrating my friend's birthday and from the start till the end, the staff were very unaccomodating. The party was split over a table of 4 and 6 but they refused to place us next to each other despite of availability of tables since we hadn't booked private dining. Didn't bring out the cake on time and when they did , we couldn't even have a knife or plates since it was outside dessert. We offered to pay extra charges but they still refused. Mid cake celebration, the manager asked for my friend to leave her own birthday celebration and come to the bar and speak to her. How can someone get something as simple as water wrong! We asked for some tap water and they filled half of our glasses and refused to keep the jug behind saying it was needed at the bar?! It was just chaotic and inconsiderate. All in all, skip the place if it's a special event. Food is pretty mediocre too.

What a curry goat! We ordered some more. Mellow vibes. Attentive service. Loved seeing plants climbing the wall. And photos of cows and music artists.

Loved this restaurant from the decor, customer service to the food. Went last week for my sisters birthday. We received a warm welcome from Ayanna herself, she took great care of us. The mocktails we had were lovely and freshly made. My sister had the cheesy lobster for her starter which she thoroughly enjoyed. For the main she had the Oxtail and I had the Seabass. We both loved our mains. Everything was made fresh and tasted delicious. Presentation was top class.
