The pea and mint tortellini was lovely, I was a bit disappointed with the salad accompanying my steak, a lot of salad leaves topped by a few radishes and tomatoes!!

If it was possible to give a review with negative stars I’d give the most negative rating, me and my friends had booked an afternoon tea for 6 people online. When we arrived I handed in my reservation details and all necessary documents. We had been sat down and asked for menus, after being given the wrong menus countless times, we had called the staff members to no avail. Finally, when a staff member did talk to us, we were treated with the utmost disrespect and disgust. Menus were thrown at us. We had booked vegetarian meals online, and one of my friends is extremely allergic to dairy products- which we had mentioned online. We were given tea and coffee, which arrived 30 minutes before the actual food had arrived, this was rather strange as there were only two other small groups in the café at the time. When the food arrived the order was incomplete and full of dairy. We had to remove all dairy products which left us with literally nothing to eat. Water was not offered to us, service was terrible, and staff lacked basic manners and courtesy. Overall a horrible experience and I would recommend if you enjoy being treated like livestock on a farm.

I gave 2 starts to this place cause the hygiene is very low; the toilets are dirty most of the times and the cups not always clean. I have been there many times and the food/drinks are average, food arrives on time, however they take for ever to bring you the bill - most of the times we have to go to the till and pay there. I went there yesterday morning and the place was a mess, obviously there was no morning cleaner, the toilets looked like post world war II and the space was very cold. After I used the toilet I sat at a table waiting for my friend. The waitress came to take the order and she was wearing her jacket which is not very welcoming. I asked her if there would be heating in the cafe and she said "I don't know". And I said it was cold to sit down there and that normally it is not that cold. Then she turned a little fan heater which was next to me and I said that this would not be enough to heat up such a big space. The answer was "I can't do anything. I just arrived."

Went here mid week for an after work dinner and enjoyed. Was not as busy and noisy as the close by All Bar One and Henry Addington, making for a perfect dinner. Wide menu selection with the staff attentive and helpful during our visit. Prices not too bad either, so with a visit if you are after a French style relaxing environment and meal.

Came here for Christmas lunch and food wasn't great. I chose the classic turkey with all the trimmings dish but potatoes weren't roasted enough, everything soggy and bland. Only thing that tastes nice was the tart dessert. Service was ok albeit a bit messy, they forgot one of the drinks and didn't seem coordinated with their staff on what had come out already.

Not sure about the other reviews, but I had a decent experience here. I arrived for 12.00, avoiding the lunchtime rush and found service to be good. I was seated, had eaten, paid and was out the door in under 30 minutes - just what I wanted. The burger and frites I had was good as well. Will visit again.

A very tasty meal. The burger was tender and the dipping sauce was very nice and herby. The staff were lovely and the environment was quiet and relaxing. I will definitely be coming back.

Gets too noisy. Food and service are excellent. There is plenty of space.
