This was genuinly one of the worst restaurants I've been to in years, they might offer you the set menu for £15, it's a trap, don't fall for it. Apart from the beer everything else was just absolutely horrible!

Incredible, wow. The curry was insanely good. Staff were super polite. Wish I could get a delivery to my home in Scotland. Fairly priced.Very cramped though!

Over the years I have enjoyed many delicious meals at City Spice with various friends. It’s hands down the best curry house on Brick Lane. Already looking forward to my next visit!

A friend and I went to City Spice for the first time last night. The decor of the place was nice and it wasn't too loud or busy for a Saturday night. The food itself was okay. We both ordered garlic naan which was pretty good. For our main meal, we both had the Curryleaf chicken which did not impress me.The meal could have been more seasonsed than it was, especially given the fact that this dish was recommended to us by one of the guys who worked there. The service was also good until the end when one of our servers took our food to package it up for takeaway. I knew i should have asked to do it myself because when i got home i realised they gave me my friends food and vice versa. And in this day and age of a pandemic, we aren't trying to swap foods so I was kind of upset about that. All in all, I would rate this place a 7/10 for the decent service, okay food, and nice location.

We came as a group and waited quite a long time for the food. When it arrived two dishes were missing and the service which in general wasn’t too great didn’t really show interest. In regards of the food I was very disappointed especially after seeing the generally good reviews before coming here. I guess they treat groups differently with smaller portions and less friendliness in the service.

Really nice curry house with super friendly and attentive staff. The lamb chop and onion bhaji starters were delicious and the garlic naan was really good too. However the curry leaf chicken special was a little dry and disappointing for the price (around £12+) - apart from that, a very enjoyable Friday night curry!

I stayed in the Crashpad above City Spice so thought it would be rude to not have a curry on Brick Lane. Made an excellent choice as the food was excellent with just the right amount of heat. It also came quickly. Went hard with the tip but forgot to ask if it was properly given to the staff. Hope so.

This is a great restaurant. Friendly staff and tasty food. Ask for the £15 deal. Two bottles of beer. Starter main. Poppadoms man and rice!

Dirty tablecloth and the food was tasteless. Staff were polite and respectful and it was relatively cheap. Not the best Indian, but after a night of drinking satisfied a need.

Visited this restaurant with family and friends on recommendation of a family member who lives nearby. We were not disappointed. 7 of us descended and we were happily accommodated by the owner who immediately pushed tables together for us. Our main meals were a mixture of the meat and vegetable dishes and we had a good selection of dishes included. It was a great way to taste a bit of several dishes. I especially loved the vegan thali. All this and attentive friendly service – Good covid 19 measures!! we will definitely be paying a return visit.Great prices too, very reasonable for London
