Goodman Canary Wharf in Tower Hamlets

Normally I don't say this. But very nice service of all employees since stepping in the resturant until leaving. Atmosphere and environment is flawless. Food itself is good. Better than most of steakhouses. Price is okay, I would say worth it. Last pic is the cut "menu" haha

Delicious! we chose dry-aged Sirloins from The Cut menu and really enjoyed perfect thick steaks.

Lovely atmosphere and fantastic service, unfortunately, the food fell short, it was very hit and miss. My beef roast was actually great, the beef was tender and flavoursome, absolutely loved the carrots, however, the potatoes had no flavour and were very dry, and the gravy, tasted wrong, I couldn't eat it, it had a weird sweet taste to it.The Ribeye was OK, not sure if it's because he had gotten a medium, but there was not much flavour at all, which is shocking as a ribeye should be packed with flavour. The mushrooms were covered in chives, and ended up just tasting of onions, wasn't very enjoyable, the prawns were also lacking flavour, definitely needed more seasoning, we shouldn't have to rely on the sauce for all the taste. But the spinach was nice. The cocktails weren't very sweet, but they were accommodating, and were happy to make it sweeter for me. All and all, it was a lovely experience, but standards need to be raised with the food.

Well as a lover of Goodman City and Goodman Mayfair I had the same high expectations for Goodman Canary Wharf........but I was slightly disappointed. I have never had any of their beef off the normal menu so this was a first for me and yes, the beef was good. The disappointment comes when I asked for something not on the menu and was told they didn't have the staff in the kitchen to do it. This lost them their 5 star review. Goodmans has always exceeded for me in the customer experience until now. I felt slightly let down by this. Apart from this, the staff were attentive as they have been in the other restaurants. The location is fantastic, right next to the water and the bathroom facilities are exceptionally clean. I'm sure if you went here you would enjoy your meal, but I think City and Mayfair are true champions in the full dining out experience. Oh, lastly.....parking. This is a nightmare at Canary Wharf and I had to park around 10mins away in Waitrose/John Lewis carpark. If you spend £10 in store they 'validate your receipt' so you supposedly get 2 hours free parking during the week and 3 hours free at the weekend. I spent just under £100, but when I went to leave the car park, I paid the normal charge.

Amazing food. The staff is really friendly, patient and helpful. They took the time to explain different cuts available. The steak was delicious. The sides are very tasty with good portion sizes. Expensive but the whole experience is worth the price.

Best steak I've eaten in a long time!Was a wonderful experience from start to find. The chefs come and explain all the different meats, where they are from, what meat to choose to suit your pallette. Food was timely, staff were so helpful.Would suggest share 2 sides per couple as steaks are pretty big and sides are big. Cost of food I would say was around £70pp. But the service and food was worth it. The steak melted in my mouth. Lovely location for a relatively quiet low key dinner with beautiful surroundings. Will definitely be returning!

Amazing experience for beef! We had a UK dry aged bone in sirloin and US wet aged T-Bone sirloin. We also ordered a 2006 Rioja which went well with the meat.

Had a great time here enjoying the great view and the amazing service. Was really happy that we ordered the Mac and cheese!!!

Wonderful experience it was, at the time of booking the lady I spoke with suggested to put us in their private room and we were disappointed! 👌🏼It was a cool space where we could really chat and have a great time without interfering with the rest of the restaurant.The location is great! Beautiful views right across the canary wharf and outside seating area available, about 5mins walk from the canary wharf underground station and 2 mins walk from Heron Quays DLR overhead station.However if you do not use your Google maps walking, what should take 5mins can quite easily turn to 20mins 😁The food was great (the steaks, fish, burgers, chips etc 🔥🔥🔥) and the chef's paid great attention to our requests. The staff at the reception, bar areas and those that waited on us were all friendly, patient and helpful.Quite a limited menu they offer, not alot on it at all but still good enough.Not a very big sized restaurant compared to other Hawksmoor restaurants but decor here and ambience is really great 😍There is a non-optional discretionary charge which is ok 13% and doogie bags available for left overs 😁I would recommend ❤️

Waiter explained things amazingly (Alex). We had personal recommendations and a great demonstration as to what the steaks would look like.Good recommendations for wine too!Although pricey, it was definitely a memorable experience, especially the ribeye. So juicy and flavourful
