Wow you get a lot of food! It is also very good. Our waitress was very nice and was working so hard. Lots of people in restaurant. I’d definitely go back.

My experience didn't start too well, because as I arrived, one of the managers was having a full blown argument with a member of staff. Not a great first impression!Once I got to our table and everyone had arrived then the afternoon went much better! Quite an extensive menu with loads of pizza options, chicken and fish dishes. We all shared the tomato pizza bread which was really hot and tasty then I had the the chicken dish (which is the round ball/kiev shape you can see in the picture) served with a good portion of side vegetables, which was absolutely delicious. If you're a big fan of chicken, then you will love this. Finished off with a lovely chocolate ice cream. It's a little bit pricey, EG: £9 for bruschetta, but it's Limehouse, East London, so it is pretty much what you'd expect to pay. Service was a little bit off to begin with but as the afternoon went one they seemed to warm to us a bit more, and we had some very funny banter with one of the waitresses.

Fantastic food and service. Typical Italian (large) portions. Highly recommend!!

I have been here once and have to say that the food is very good! I was a little reluctant to have dinner here because of the name, I thought that someone calling a restaurant with that name (in Italian is not a very nice word) was because he/she was not Italian so, the food would not been proper Italian food. Once day I decided to go and have a try and I had to reconsider what I thought before...Food was simply amazing, we tried everything: pizza, fish, meat, side and desserts....everything was as in Italy! Very recommended!

I went to La Figa with my Italian girlfriend, and after initially sitting down I asked her if she wanted to leave. We stayed and both were disappointed with our experience. We both had pizzas that are a good size, but they fell short tasting like something from Dominoes with tasteless cheese and tough thick crusts. Apart from going to Italy (Campania) twice in the past 6 months, there are authentic Pizzerias here in East London that serve pizza 10x better that I've eaten at. One giveaway of an authentic Italian restaurant/takeout is they DON'T have Garlic Bread on the menu which this place does. The feel of the place is like it is stuck in the 1980s, and there is this buzzer that is sounded when food is ready from the kitchen which makes me feel like I'm on a cruise ship or in a warehouse.I feel they cater more to a non-Italian (Docklands) clientele, looking at some of the reviewer names that leave good reviews here, they make no real comparison or seem to have experience of proper Italian cuisine. This place is very overpriced for what you get. 2x Pizzas + 2x 250ml glasses of Red wine = £60!! Not worth it. Maronn 😔 🏽

I love this restaurant. I go here every year for my birthday because the people are lovely, service is excellent, the food is delicious, drinks are tasty, and we always have a wonderful time. It is not my birthday without a meal here!

·

I’ll start from the menu. There’s pages with a big list of choices, but not descriptive enough on the menu (spices, vegiterian options...)Food we ordered was not good/ tasty. Atmosphere was the same, looks nice from outside but was not the cleanest inside. The service was at first ok but we still felt rushed as the server was checking if we have finished, took my beer bottle off the table before I finished and brought it back and topped up my beer glass when she realised there was still beer in the bottle, which was very strange. We didn’t care to complain as we had no intention to go back since we had the experience of the atmosphere and service we received .

Wonderful food and service. I highly recommend you visit this excellent restaurant if you get the opportunity.

All the food was served without salt. We requested extra Artichokes on out pizza and they had been literally thrown on the pizza. Awful presentation, tasteless foodThe pasta, however, was delicious

We were lucky to get a table on a busy Saturday evening without a reservation, and it was a wonderful evening at La Figa. They serve huge portions indeed :) I thoroughly enjoyed my tuna steak from specials of the day mains. House champagne was decent too. Great place, friendly service. Thank you.
