I visited the restaurant and tested karshi chicken, which is a popular dish.I believe it was below average.Nothing remarkable about the food test.Atmospheric conditions were also deplorable.Additionally, the service was quite lacking.

Without a doubt, one of the best South Asian restaurants I've ever had outside of South Asia. No matter how far Lahore Kebab House is from you, I promise you will never regret your visit.

As a pakistani from Lahore, I am sad to say this was a shameful and unpleasant experience. Got gosht karahi which was very soupy and lacked authentic flavours and meat was not tender. My doc martens are softer than the meat karahi, ordered also chicken karahi which was a disappointment, chicken was of low quality, curry base was also heavily watered down, ordered chilli mogo and that is the only thing that was decent but cassava was undercooked and lacked the sweet, sour and spicy balance. Last but a huge let down was the array of dry and tepid seeds kebabs, chicken rolls and mutton tikka, no inspiration, no respect within this so called cultural cuisine.I will never set foot in this establishment ever again, I will advise anyone to steer clearl from lahore in e1. Atrociously bad quality and hygiene problematic, table was sticky , floor was not cleaned and salad was served by a waiter whom did not was there hands over two hours that we were there. Appaling and needs an EHO visit.

Always great food and always get a table. BYOB (bring your own booze) and great value. Just he prepared for it to be busy and noisy, but the good food, speedy service and reasonable price make it a classic London institution.

Lahore Kebab House has a capacity of 300 people and they're almost always jam packed. Friday and Satruday nights are insane. They sell reasonably priced delicious meals and despite having a lot of staff the demand is really high. I understand they can't possibly invest more time in making their plates more presentable as their aim is to cater to the high demand.. which is what you pay for. You can't expect Ritz service where you're only paying approx £10 for a main, can bring your own booze and are not even asked for a service charge. Having said that, I've been going to LKH for 7, 8 years now and I absolutely love their food. Their chicken and prawn Briyani, fish, haleem, everything is mouthwatering. My friends and I absolutely love the food at this place. LKH has been around for about 40 years for a reason.. the owner overseers while Emran and Asif run the show! Well done and way to go.Though my recommendation would be to add service charge as the staff deserve tips :)

4/5 Onion bhajia3/5 Lamb curry, pilau rice1/5 Nihari, Mango lassiI’m surprised by all the rave reviews. Not only the food (their signature dish) disappoint, service was practically nonexistent and the place reeks of oil all over.Didn’t dare to use the restroom. Never again.

Never eat from here when its busy, I ordered a Lamb karahi apparently it was ready in like 3 minutes 😳It tasted awful and disgusting I felt like as if I’m eating from the leftovers, it wasn’t worth the price i paid £9.50 just for the karahi which had 80% gravy and 20% meat. However the chicken roast boti was ok I wouldn’t rush to go back to this place.

A must for good food! Price, quality, taste and portion size are bag on the money. The entrees are definitely worth ordering so don't skip it. Acoustics terrible so it is loud due to all the table chatter but that is a small price to pay ;)
