Leon - Spitalfields in Tower Hamlets

Last week they got mine and my friend’s vegan sandwich wrong 2 times in a row and the manager was arguing with us both times after we got back to get the right order. First time it was a completely different non vegan sandwich and 2nd time it had an egg in it which was again the wrong order.After some time passed coming back there for the 2nd time( we were waiting for 10-15 minutes while our shops we work at were closed) he finally gave me and my friend the right sandwich( I had to ask again for mine one as he only did one at first for some reason although he got both of our orders wrong not once but twice so another 5 mins passed) and we had to literally beg to get a refund as well( which we still didn’t receive after a week now). They gave us a free drink and dessert card which we tried to get today and the manager was there clearly remembering who we are and I couldn’t find my card to get the free drink and I told him that I can bring it next time as also my friend that was with me had hers. I payed a lot more in the end for the breakfast and coffee.If I knew he wouldn’t give me the drink for free which is absurd by this point that he didn’t, I would have taken the meal deal that includes the drink and breakfast which I also kindly explained I’m ready to pay for, he still charged me the normal price for both items. Unfortunately we are not gonna be coming back there anymore and it’s ridiculous that this kind of customer service is acceptable and okay at this time and age. Very fast and good place to eat if you are vegetarian or vegan, lot of options and nice taste. Sometimes the fries are a bit cold and not enough crispy but still good enough to eat them !

Very upsetting to see that quality of food at once my favorite fast food spot is dropping way below average. Bought chicken and halloumi wrap today, both old and restless:(

Fast food burger restaurant, with a Korean slant. My order was small, it included burgers and fries, both were reheated, not freshly made.Eat inside, table hadn't been clean that day, at least. It was sticky and my wet wipe was brown after I cleaned it.It does has a Food Standards Agency 5 star hygiene rating, October 2019, so the cooking regime itself should be up to standard.

I really like Leon, but for some reason, the first time I went to this Leon in Spitalfields Market the fries were not great. The fries didn't taste very fresh at all and they were rather stale. I decided to talk about the issue of the fries through the feedback QR code that was on some of the packaging and a week later I received a promo to try the fries again. This was quite unexpected and I appreciate how they listened to me. After trying it again, the fries were noticeably better and higher quality. But it's kinda off-putting how the bad fries occurred until I had to tell them about it. Many of my friends also said that the fries here were terrible before I arrived.But I'm glad that my feedback made a difference, as the fries here have become better, and the atmosphere of this place is really nice. I can't deny that.

Awful experience! Food was cold - I had to return 3 items as they were cold and soggy. The sandwiches were badly made (no thought in preparation). Manager was overly defensive. I regularly eat in in Leon at the Brunswick centre and I've never had a problem before. Maybe they were having a bad day and/or understaffed due to covid. I hope they will return to better standards soon

Ridiculously small portion of chicken!Tiny amount of protein, it used to be good and generous but over the last few years:1. Less aioli (now you have to buy an extra packet of sauce to have enough in one meal)2. Almost no chicken at all. I had to add extra as well (see photos).For >£8 it's really not worth it anymore, never buying again!

Tasty variety of reasonably healthy meal options. Still going through the menu options, but the Satay Chicken has been spot on so far.🤤

This was the 2nd time in a row I’ve had an issue with my order (3 stars last time) from this LEON on Deliveroo. We ordered the Korean Chicken Burger and large fries for each of us (two people). We received 2 burgers and only one order of (cold) fries. We noticed a clear difference between the burgers while still wrapped. When we opened them one had two very small pieces of chicken (Leon use GFC nuggets to make the burgers) and the other two large pieces. The larger one was piled with Korean slaw and the other had minimal slaw. Quality control is clearly missing and at nearly £11 for the combo, this is 1 star and just doesn't feel worth trying anymore.

Had food from this branch many times, like there healthy fast food concept and like to buy food for my kids from LEON when we are out and about. Just wish if the chicken options can be made from chicken breast not only thighs. Staff in this branch are super nice and friendly, love their service in this branch.
