Fantastic food as always, good size portion and has this barbecue smell on the meat. They can improve on their salad by adding sumak, make it full Turkish experience.

Overall i would recommend. They don't serve alcohol which is a shame as i think that would be a nice option. Food was nice but i think they can do even better but i would come again. The mocktails are more like a milkshake or dessert ice cream...VERY sweet.... maybe a little too sweet. The interior decoration of restaurant is nice too, makes the eating in more special. The bread that comes with the humus was LOVELY....so soft and fluffy, like biting into a thick marshmallow❤ for more restaurant ideas i recommend, see Instagram @soulsceneuk

Avoid at all cost! I should have just taken £89 out of the bank and threw it in the bin! The food was not worthy of one star! They are charging so much for worse than corner shop kebab. The humus was the worst I have ever had. The mix grill we paid £51 was just a plate of grease and no flavour. I asked for no spice but they are obviously confused between flavour and spice. We have been coming here for over 16 years and this time around food was not from the same people as before. This restaurant use to have people waiting for a seat now it empty on Saturday night. This should have been a clue for us. We always leave tips for any restaurant we visit and this was the first place where we didn’t leave anything. The staff need to have some serious customer service training. Any food have left we take away and give it a homeless person. When we asked for a take away container the waiter just slammed it on our table and walked away. There was no courtesy, no thank you for coming either. It felt like we were there as an inconvenience. Won’t be going there ever again.

Extremely average food, and you will not get the same experience you get in other Turkish restaurants because-The complementary Turkish naan is not Turkish naan-Instead of serving complimentary hummus/tzatziki, it's a plate of cream cheese?-There is no dressing on the salad that comes with the meal like in other Turkish restaurants-No complimentary Turkish tea at the endHowever decent place to sit and eat if you're in the area and need a quick bite, the interior is nice and clean and staff are polite.

The food here is halal and its a great place if you are going to pray in the East London Mosque or just visiting Whitechapel. We always order the mix grill. I attached photos of the grilled fish as well as the garlic mushroom. The first time we tried Maedah was back in 2014 and I must say that was the highest point of the restaurant. The food used to taste way better then. In the middle we stopped going because the food and the service wasn't great but now its gone back to being good again hence the 4 stars (I would give it a 3.5 if it was available). I believe the ups and downs are because of the management changes the restaurant went through. The prices have gone up quite a lot but overall its a good place to sit down with family and enjoy some Turkish food.

Great food and great restaurant however the Turkish dishes no longer taste 100% authentic. The Turkish Tea was awful. Our last visit was for a wedding invite so a mix of kebabs and curry were served. We had vegetable, mutton and chiken curry served with dhal white rice and biryani. I personally had the chiken curry mutton curry, dhal and white rice and it was very nice and not very spicy at all.

Really wonderful food, HMC Too. Friendly staff, good helpings, & really tasty food. Also served with complimentary nan bread with some dips. A local Mosque across the road too, which is ideal if you go prayer time.

Went on eat out to help out day. We went early and they were able to accommodate our group of 8. One thing that stood out was despite the stresses of this discount event and with building queues outside, the majority of waiters were very polite and professional and nothing was too much trouble for them. One waiter did seem a bit green and apparently under training but she did OK given the circumstances. The food in general was good and arrived within about 30 mins of ordering. We ordered variety of platters - and the chops, ribs, shwarma and wings in them were particularly good. The adana kofte however was a bit bland. There were a few disappointments, some items such lamachun and beyti were not available on the day and they apparently only had one blender machine which meant a long wait for cocktail drinks. But these were minor issues and overall we very much enjoyed our visit here.
