Very nice place for breakfast . Open very early 6 a.m.

Attitude bad. Over tomatoes.. fresh or tin.Bacon very salty(sign of bad quality, cheap)bubble & squeak frozen inside

·

Hardworking and friendly staff. The food is exactly how traditional English cafe food should be. The front pages of newspapers from WW2 on the walls make interesting reading while you’re tucking into your grub. Oh, and they make a proper cuppa. Nice and strong.Stick to Starbucks if you’re bothered about rubbing shoulders with the unpretentious side of London.

yhis is by far the worst experience of my life woth food the food is vile. i asked for a cheese and ham tostie that cost ÂŁ3.80 it was horrible the ham was terrible the cheese was thick. im not sure how this establishment is aloud to stay open.

The most disgusting cafe I've ever been too, the bacon was undercooked and the chips were old and crusty, the eggs had black bits in them and the coffee wasnt even mixed, there were coffee granules floating around on the surface, i felt sick after trying to eat it and my friends who were with me also felt the same way, the owner was also rude and unaccomadating, i hardly ever write reviews but this place deserved it due to the lack of quality and hygiene.

Came in today to pick up a takeaway breakfast baguette. It was so tasty. Will be back to try the full breakfast!

Just tried these guys out during lockdown. Nice takeaway full English (orange juice in photo my own). Good service. Food piping hot. Would go back

I used to live in Stepney about eight years ago when I was a student nearby. I used to go in here at 6am before my day began and sit down with a nice cup of tea and the best breakfast one could ask for. It has everything you could want in a traditional English cafe. A warm welcome, delicious food and an interesting decor. Next time I'm in London, I'll try my best to pop in. Long may it stay.

Traditional greasy spoon cafe with very friendly staff and generous, reasonably priced portions. Formica tables and historic (Second World War) newspaper covers framed on the walls. I often pick up a bacon sandwich to take away and never regret my occasional visits for a full English breakfast. Not open on Sundays.

Absolute classic cafe, lovely breakfast. Great newspaper headline archive. Could have done with some Arsenal posters in there too.
