This is a lovely pub, great atmosphere also has a lovely outdoor seating area, with huts.Unfortunately! My partner and I went for a visit 25th March one of the bar staff a tall burnette was extremely rude! we waited at the bar she walked past us twice and served other people, one of the guys she served come up to the bar after us and stood next to us ,she served him so when we tried to make an order next she waved her hand in our face and said "You need to wait these people have been waiting a long time! The other people she were referring to just walked up to the bar. That was a our queue to leave. Very disappointed we usually come to this pub quite often, and never be made to feel this uncomfortable.

We were looking for somewhere just to have a drink late Thursday afternoon and decided to stop at The George rather than walk down to Shoreditch. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcomed; it had a very relaxing and inviting atmosphere plus I liked the fact that the decor wasn’t too jazzed up or too modern. It was only a brief visit; the wine was fine so we are quite happy to go back there again.

It's a nice cute little spot down in Bethnal green, great atmosphere, great food and excellent service. The staff were absolutely attentive warm. I will definitely visit again!!!

Great drinks, music and bar staff unfortunately let down by the bouncers. Turned a friend of mine away for not having ID when she’s CLEARLY over 18 and literally showed them it on her phone. Seems between the two of them they only knew 4 words “no ID no entry” no reasonable reason was given why my friend wasn’t allowed in. I think the pub really needs to educate them on the law or replace them.

Great East London pub, with great selection of beers. Atmosphere is nice, terrace available as well. Nothing negative to say about the location.

Cool beer garden, can’t wait for the sunny days to kick off so we can watch football outside. By far the best outside destiny in the local area. The food was good too. Loved David - proper fun fella! 🤘🏽

Nice little boozer following recent renevation. Went for a Sunday lunch. The roast lamb was cooked beautifully, a decent caveman-sized hunk of meat on the bone which came apart effortlessly, but the accompaniments were a bit hit and miss. The potatoes were ok but too small and few in number; the parsnips were undercooked. Friendly staff though and nice all-round relaxed atmosphere.

Food wasn't great-burnt pizzas that took 40 minutes for one and an hour for the other, very strange topping combinations that didn't taste great. Definitely not worth the wait and tasted like store bought oven pizzas.Guiness wasn't particularly drinkable, but its atmosphere seems pretty good, were there on pub quiz night, the beginning of the night had a great atmosphere, pub emptied out immediately after quiz and then last call was pretty soon after. Went to another pub to finish off the evening.Have heard the beer garden is great so may visit again in summer, but who knows.

Great little spot with cool decor and has a spacious beer garden, staff were friendly and the food was good 👍🏻 always pop in when I’m in the area 🍻

Lively pub with good decor and a big drinks range. Part of the Bethnal Green scene but without the heavily distressrd appearance.
