Oriental House in Tower Hamlets

Absolutely incompetent. It took 2 hours for my food to arrive. Every time I rang they said "2 minutes" and wouldn't chase up the delivery driver. The delivery driver was impolite.The food was also equally poor. The ribs are a disgrace - no meat, tiny, tasteless. I ordered cantonese duck and I got a few fatty tiny pieces of duck in a disgusting watery sauce. Avoid this place like the plague, 0/5 stars.

Wow its the worst Chinese restaurant ive been to. The chicken dish was full of breadcrumbs no chicken. The other dishes were tasteless. Very disappointed

Avoid! In szechuan chicken was missing... Chicken, and food was bland, no flavour, and extra hair on top...Prawns burnt, which made then dry and very thiny piece inside the breadcrumb, and bitter and dry, hard to bite. Can I have money back for noodles and prawns? Landed in the bin!Disgusting

Very disappointed after craving Chinese.The portion was good size but food wasn't heated thoroughly and this isn't good for business or customers although having a 4* rating which is good compared to most I saw with 2 and 3* rating. Things have to be done right to gain and keep customers. I hope they see all reviews and see them as honest positive criticism, work on it and strive to do better.Food was pretty bland and the first and worst crispy chilli beef i ever had as the sauce very different than what I am used to ,however the first I able to chew n eat without chewing forever! With things as they are its important takeaways get it right so we can recommend good clean and lovely places to eat.

I was really impressed with our delivery last night! Food was really tasty, arrived piping hot on time and the portion sizes were superb. I would highly recommend to anyone in the local area and will most definitely be ordering again soon.

Food is bland, greasy and very small. Salt and pepper ribs has only one rib cut up instead of the four ribs the customer service person said. Food is also expensive. So disappointed was really looking forward to it, should of just been patience and waiting for golden dragon in Mile end, they never disappoint.

Although the food was very good, when it eventually arrived, it is impossible to recommend Oriental House. The food was an hour late in arriving, two hours after ordering. We rang several times to enquire when delivery would be made, and was told that it was on its way, but on the last occasion, they forgot to lie and told us that it had not even left the premises. One dish was missing, and when we rang to enquire were told that they could only reimburse us after three days because the money was with Just Eat. Another lie. After 48 hours, Just Eat will not take any action. So, food arrived too late, and no refund for dishes not delivered. Such a shame that the good food is let down by poor delivery and non existent customer service. Avoid

Do not order from here, you will regret it after the first taste. I made a large order and everything just taste of chemical, I work as a chef so it smelt like sanitizer witch is very dangerous. And you can tell the good reviews are done by the owner.

So disappointed! Probably the worst experience ever. The squid was black and grey and smelt! The rest of the food was bland. One dish didn’t arrive. No taste. Avoid at all costs!

I ordered late at night and the food was disgusting I was so disappointed. The salt and pepper chicken was exstreamly chewy and started old... the worst salt and pepper chicken I have ever had. The curry sauce was tasteless. I really wasemt impressed, and when I tried to call them about it they where not answering. A waste of my money.
