Came here for the Iftar platter and was really disappointed. Looks all good on the food blogger photos on insta but no care for a regular customer.I got 5 pieces of chips, yes I counted them.Lamb chops were hard and rubbery, wings had no meat on them and everything else just tasted bog standard/frozen (sausage roll, pie & mash)

Visited this place last night for iftar, the food came 30 minutes after our fast had broken. There was not even water provided at the time we opened our fast, as well as this not even on apology from the man who was serving us. However as we were leaving the chef had come out and apologised for the delay. Will definitely not be returning here again.

Not as good as it used to be previously! Hadn't eaten here in a couple of years and the last time before now, certainly tasted better. Also eating here now is certainly more expensive than it used to be. Previously you used to get 2 sides included with your pie selection but now each side is an extra on top of the pie. Furthermore, the selection of pies has gone down from what it used to be. Not sure if I would return. On a plus side, the service is immaculate! Not sure if you'll get this level of service anywhere else! Spot on!!

Food really isn’t great. It tasted quite bland and the portions were really small for the price. It took a long time to come out of the kitchen and tasted like it was all pre-made and heated up again. They also don’t take card payments so we had to go back to the cash machine. The waiter was very pleasant thoughIt was empty in there, but I can probably see why now. Unfortunately won’t be back

Menu changed from last year. Maybe new owners. Pie factory was our usual go to place for quick meals. Now they charge more for less food. Before pies came with gravy and two sides and now it’s just the pie with gravy and you have to pay extra for rubbish sides. Don’t waste your money deffo not worth it

Okay, not great. Very bland- mash was lumpy and chips tasted like Iceland chips. ÂŁ2.50 for tiny portion of chips. Better food places in the area

Very kind staff and the food is NEVER a let down.It would be nice if you did card payments too14/11/21 update. Im taking one star off because I and my friend came on Sunday only to find out that it was closed. Yet on google it says its open. Its wasted alot of our time and travel. We do not live close by so thats alot of travel money gone for nothing.

This place has got better over the years. It used to have slow service and a limited menu but recently things have changed and it is a now decent. Location is fine as in front of mosque and with local parking available but this may not be suitable for outside visitors. Food is good with selection of pies and sides including premium sides. Prices are comparable to other similar places

What a find - passing by East London just before last weeks lockdown. Excellent food. Very tasty platter - so much food for only ÂŁ37. Went went just before breakfast finished and lunch. Got to try their Weekend breakfast next time. AS for the platter - best i had. will come back and recommend for sure.

My wife’s been telling me how she used to go to pie factory a lot when she was in Uni, and it was one of her fav spots - I’ve eaten there before and wanting some nostalgia decided to visit today.First of all I want to mention that the service was good. The people were polite, and friendly, but the owners have defo changed. We saw masala wings on the menu, and being fans of masala chips ordered it straight away - it looked unappetising, and didn’t taste much better. It was raw masala thrown over some not so great wings, we disliked it so much that had to return it, no redeemable quality, but they were nice enough not to charge us for it.The pie was actually quite nice, 7/10, the accompanying veg on the other hand was poor and flavourless, 3/10, didn’t taste bad but wasn’t good.Personally won’t be visiting again, but wouldn’t dissuade others from visiting, would say give other items on the menu a shot.
