Qasida Turkish Restaurant in Tower Hamlets

Been eating at this place for over 6 years. Never ever had a single complaint to make about customer service or the food in all that time till today. Ordered via Uber eats and the restaurant made the wrong dish which delayed my order. I called the restaurant and said I’m ok with the incorrect dish they made as it was a chicken beyti instead of a lamb beyti. I told the staff member over the phone it’s fine I’ll take it just chuck in a free drink as I did not want good food going to waste and I’m sure it would taste as great as the lamb option. The staff member said “no we’ve started making the lam beyti so your order will be another 10 mins”. Not a single apology for the mistake on their end and when I mentioned this to him his reply was well you ordered through Uber eats take your issue up with them. The conversation went back and forth for a while and I’m appalled at how this apricot staff member spoke and dealt with it. Even though they have great food this is what’s stopping me from going back there. Customer service is KEY!!

Went there on the 11 th of March 2022, The standard of quality has gone down. The salad and the food was probably from a day before. The service was OK, so no quibble with serving staff although they do need to learn not keep staring at the customers while they are eating,yes have a glance to see if they need anything but do not fix your eyes on them.

Ordered through uber eat and I almost ate nothing. The food is very cold and the ribs are chewy and felt like it was cooked days ago. We had to hold the ribs and use our teeth to get a piece of meet.

I've been there while ago but forgot to review, hands down the most tastiest flavoursome food, their chilli sauce was out of this world. Great customer service skills, which makes it a pleasant experience.

Haven’t been here for a long time. Must say the food did not disappoint was really good with the meat being very tender. The portion was very generous for two people.Also had the masala tea which was very nice will definitely be coming back her soon.

I usually order from their. But last few weeks whole chicken Platter. I usually place order. But today 5/10/2021 placed order today. The chiken tasted so off and seems like someone put the raw chicken on to grill for 10 to 15 min and than slapped that sauce on top to make it chiken flavourfull. This is the cheap and saving gas money. Normally chiken is Marinated for 2 days than steamed in a machine then grilled. But today I placed order asked for well done this is what they gave me. Slapped some sauce on top of the chiken. Look at the sauce. It was about 2cm deep chicken marinade slapped on top of chiken just before putting it out for delivery. To me I think they have new owner. Or they don't have time to marinate and use steam machine. That cost money n time. NEXT TIME IF U WANT SOMTING BETTER THAN THIS I WOULD RECOMMEND OZTURK FUSION 10X BETTER THAN SHISH. COMMENT ME BELOW WHEN U TRY OZTURK FUSION. IF U DONT LIKE I WIL PAY FOR THE MEAL FOR U.SHISH HAS NEW OWNER OR THEY HAVE NEW CHEF. THAT CHIKEN WAS COOKED WITH A TUB OF SLAPPED ON TOP OF CHIKEN. RATHER THAN MARINADE N STEAMED. GUYS DONT WASTE UR MONEY ON SHISH. TRY OZTURK FUSION POPA TURKISH FLAVOURS IN THEIR CHIKEN

Best place for half or full chicken with rice. Also the burgers are unique very big and has a lot of spices in it.

Absolutely love this place. The food in this place was incredible and very cheap is well. A platter was only £26 and had a lot to try. The food itself was very tasty. The chops were very juicy and delicious. The portion size was very good especially for the sides. The restaurant is quite small (have to go downstairs for sitting area) and doesn’t have much sitting place but it is very cheap and very tasty. They have an amazing selection of food and I will definitely be coming here again. They also serve free water with every meal which is amazing. The food is delicious and very spacious. Try the half chicken with rice/fries. They are the best. Staffs can be little more friendly. The best part of the turkish food is the starter they always give it for free (Naan- Bread, Salad and chilli dip) to be honest that is way better than the actual ordered food. They have large seating area in the underground-but no access to wheelchair. Party size can be pre-booked.They only accept cash (at the time of review) so prepare to have cash to avoid disappointment.

This was my 3rd time dining in the Shish, the food at the beginning when I visited, I found the food was different and nice. The atmosphere is not really nice. The customer service was really good at the beginning from one of the waiters. But this time they got my friend’s order wrong, and they rectified it by not charging us for the drinks, which was not bad!. When it came to the bill, we were told to go upstairs and pay. However, one of them stopped us, as we made our way upstairs, in a way they made us feel like we were running away without paying. But, we were just following orders, and that’s how we paid there previously. It was a disgusting service, we are never going back there again.
