Worst Chinese restaurant experience in 20 years. Accepted our custom and told to return the table within 45 minutes or they will pack our food.. how thoughtful! The portion is incredibly small, both starter and mains. Less than half of what you would get from China town. When asked why, Manager said we could’ve ordered more???魚香茄子Aubergine with mince meat.. came with tiny cheap shrimps and peppers. Refused to refund and took the food away.Asked for the bill and they had the audacity to include service charge!? Mind blown … straight up refused to pay and was greeted with a scoff …My goodness stop pretending to be a classy place when I wouldn’t feed your food to my pets!

Food Was delicious, but the service was horrible. We waited for 45 minutes to get a table. They didn't give time to check the menu, everything was in a rush. When we finished the meal, they immediately brought us the bill. 13% service charge.....If you want a relaxing lunch/dinner order a take away.

On a late night in Canary Wharf, we decided to try the branch of Royal China here. Royal China usually never fails to disappoint whether at Baker Street, Dubai, Mumbai or New Delhi. And Canary Wharf was no exception. The food was fabulous and the staff are very efficient. Th food came soon after we ordered. And everything was very tasty. We are very happy with the consistency of all Royal China branches.

Delicious food, but very busy indeed. Limited number of 2-seat tables available, so it is better to book in advance for smaller groups. But very impressive and huge menu to choose from!

Ordered from deliveroo. Far too expensive for what you get. £17 for fried rice is ridiculous. £20 for a seafood dish with NO mussels, squid, just prawns in a weirdly sweet sauce. Will not be ordering again.

Very busy and popular place - probably best to book. Friendly service. Great dim sum. Authentic flavours. We were highly satisfied for £30 a head without alcohol including service charge.

Food is delicious, it is more than your typical dim sum. The salted egg bun is absolutely devine. Everything was great. The only downfall was service, I understand that they are busy especially on a Sunday but we never got more tea when requested, it took ages for them to get the bill and when it came to paying the bill, as we were a group of 8 and wanted to split the bill they said it would take too long so could we all just put it in one card.

Ordered the vegetarian duck which quite frankly must have been a joke! There were thin and dehydrated strips of what I assume was tofu skin resembling nothing like duck and it was £15!The noodle dish I had was in fairness fantastic and the wait time for take away wasn’t very long and the staff were friendly. I’d probably go back but highly recommend no one gets the vegetarian duck, unless you want to be sad.

Atrociously horrific service as you would expect from an authentic Chinese dim sum restaurant. Food and menu is authentically Chinese and tasty. Wish there was a better system in place to make reservations or at least have a more efficient queuing system in place to get a table. Pretty sure some “regulars” just rock up, whisper to the host, and they perform an elaborate ruse and allow them in right away.

I haven't been here for a very long time and the dim sum is still very good. We ate at 2:30pm on a Sunday and it was busy. There was a choice of table outside / inside. We ate inside since it had air con as it was 32C outside.Edit: Came back today with my family. Dim sum was good, but the service was shocking. Waitress hurried us to order and we didn't get to order drinks until later on. Same waitress kept forgetting a takeaway bag to put the excess food into. There are too many things that went wrong that does not justify the mandatory service charge levied. I hope management will take note of this.
