I've been using Silver Star since my parents used the first generation . I'm very good friends with the latest generation and bring chillies and herbs from my garden for my food sometimes. A wonderful family they know me by name and by phone number. Best food .

Very Disappointing,I Ordered special fried Rice and Salt N pepper chicken wings.Rice was too Dry and too much salty. Chicken wings was not expected like this.not taste at all.not worth the price.

Let me start of by saying the guy at the counter is very freindly and welcoming and has really good manners. The food is nice and authentic and the SWEET AND SOUR chicken is one of the best I have ever tasted, just a bit high on the price, but if your looking for really nice chinese food this is the go to Place

I've been coming to this family run business for ten years, I've always found the staff friendly, food delicious and reasonably priced, I keep coming back for more. It is my favourite take away. Just remember they're closed on Tuesday, I still keep forgetting!

The rice was dry and old, the veg noodles were OK but not great. The 'satay' sauce did not taste of peanut and was very thin. Prawn crackers were nice

Rice was clearly old and dry, Hong Kong Sweet 'n' Sour chicken was so tough and chewy, the chicken wasn't nice and obviously not fresh, and the noodles were bland.When you place an order and the guy behind the desk immediately turns around and gets your food out of the freezer I guess this is the result!

Went at 10:50pm last night, I ordered a beef curry and it came within 5 minutes, probably because they close at 11:00pm....It was tasty and I've never had a problem with this restaurant before but today I've had all symptoms of food poisoning, it is not pleasant and it is definitely the beef curry. I wont be returning.

Absolutely terrible service. We ordered takeaway over 2 hours ago and have spoken to them 3 times in which they said the food was 5 minutes away. They didn't ever show up and then their phones were constantly engaged. NEVER ORDER FOOD FROM THEM
