Sultan Sofrasi Restaurant in Tower Hamlets

My favourite Turkish restaurant in London , I can't wait to eat their food again.. I pass by every day coming back from work.I will never understand the need of being cooking/serving/getting deliveries ready WITHOUT A MASK on.If you decide to eat there, is your choice.. But I can't believe they don't care about other people at home.I work full time, 9h a day.. I would never disrespect the clients that pay my bills by not protecting them. Is it as difficult to understand?I wont be ordering before this is considered.Sorry

Staff were nice, place was clean. Tables too close to one another, therefore conversations were heard from tables behind and in front. Ordered the largest platter, ribs were small and overcooked. Chicken wings were bland. The rest of the platter was was flavoursome and cooked well.

The meat in the lamb doner wrap was fatty, gristly and tough. Inedible really, especially, when you can visibly see all the white fatty bits on your meat it really puts you off. Shame because the inside of the restaurant looked very promising.Willing to give other stuff on the menu a try but honestly if you're looking for good Turkish food then Dalston is the place to go

Heard the place had improved however upon return seems sultan sofrasi is mediocre as before, they only put up a front but have no true wants of an eatery.No doubt there are far superior Turkish cuisine restaurants in London, such a shame.

Beautiful service. Outstanding presentation and delightfully tasty food. I would certainly return again in the future.

The food was cooked well but wasn't the tastiest Turkish food that I have had compared to other places. Also I could taste fat and meat on my lips even after my meal and dessert. Also it is on the higher price of a Turkish restaurant which is fine but I think they need to match that with their food and service.

This for me is simply the best Turkish restaurant in Tower Hamlets. Everything from the food to the service is great. The food especially is just on point and fresh /delicious tasting everytime I have attended with family and friends.Put it this way, their starter complementary bread is the best turkish bread I've had in any place, its spiced in a unique way with oil or butter combo that could make this a meal in itself!.Highly recommended and prices are very competitive.

Been using Sultan Sofrasi for past 4 years. Food is always really tasty. Chicken shish is cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely. We normally collect, and and the staff behind the counter are always friendly. Portion sizes are generous and good value for money. Gem of a place

This is my go to place whenever I’ve time to take my kids. Mrs is a fan of Turkish food and this one is really a decent one and local. I love their food, their service is second to none. Little bit pricey, specially I think they should add a platter for 2 options with a relatively low price. Minimum price of a platter at the moment is £45 which is a bit too much for many people but I’d give them 5* everyday for the quality. Highly recommended.

Came across this place by chance, it's certainly a hidden gem. They gave us complimentry bread with the usual garlic and chilli sauce and this unique grilled onion and pomegranate sauce which tasted superb. The bread was also seasoned and tasted fresh and soft. The food overall was well priced, good portion size and flavoursome. I ordered the slow cooked lamb shank which was very tender and complimented well by the accompanying vegetables and sauce. Customer service was excellent, the restaurant was very clean and hygienic and they had a one way system in place as a social distance measure. The only point to mention is that the drinks were slightly overpriced than usual. Overall a great family friendly restaurant which I definitely recommend.
