The Big Chill Bar in Tower Hamlets

I lost my charger on Thursday eve at Big Chill, the staff were so accommodating when I contacted them that they actually went out of their way to buy me one. Thank you so much Aaran for organising that and everyone who helped. Such a small act of kindness but it seriously made my day Oh and we all had such a fab time there too!

We had a table booked for 8 people on a Saturday night. 3 of us arrived first and were told by the bouncers we couldn’t get in till the rest of our group arrived as they needed to check if they were as drunk as us. No one in the group was drunk so this felt odd but fair enough. When the rest of the group arrived we were let in no questions asked. I went to the bar and bought a round of drinks and was approached by a women, who I assume was the manager, who asked why I was buying the drinks. She was accusing the group of being overly drunk and saying we need to watch what we were drinking and that we should have the water they left on our table instead. It really soured the mood of the whole group and we felt like we were being watched/couldn’t go to the bar for drinks. Any other time, we would’ve left and gone elsewhere. The bartenders were great and we ended up having a good night, mainly down to the company rather than the bar itself. I wouldn’t recommend this bar to anyone due to the actions of the manager.

Good value for burger, fries and drinks for £9 in Spitalfield

Dissapointing really. Cocktails are far from the best, but price is correct for London. Beers half full taken off the table when you're not around. And bar closes earlier than what's shown, and won't serve you even few minutes before bar closes/being cleaned. Discounts offers not being respected too. Bartenders are nice yet indifferent , although the place has a nice atmospher. Would recommend maybe but definitely not at night as they seem to be in a hurry to close the place.

Nice burgers and nice atmosphere.This was my second time there, but the first one ordering food. It is usually crowded, but not at Spaniards lunch time (early dinner for Britons). They have some kind of “happy meal package” quite convenient if you want your meal with a refreshing soda or juice (not my case). Even otherwise, it is not too expensive. A good option, among others, in the neighbourhood.

Cool beer options and awesome foods I'll definitely come back for the food! I had the cheese chuck burger with 6 pieces of buttermilk chicken wings with jerk bbq sauce, so yum!This venue have lots of seatings indoors and outdoor, very spacious, enough room to walk around. It's a one way system with arrows on the floor so make sure you're walking on the right side. They have you check in with the NHS check in and they'll take you to your table, they'll also do table service while you sit down.

Me and my friend was walking around Brick Lane looking for a place we can sit, chill out and have lunch that didnt break the bank. We stumbled upon this place and we immediately found the environment to be warm and comfortable. The staff were nice and friendly, the food was alright. The buttermilk fried chicken was very crispy, then had our sauces of choice sprayed on top of it rather than cooked in it, but still nice. The music varied, but wasn't too loud, so me and my friend were able to have a nice conversation. I recommend this place for anyone looking to just chill out for brunch and a chat.
