Perfect curry night on Brick Lane. Manager was super friendly, really chatty and made our evening very lovely indeed. The food was fantastic, complimented with a free beer and glass of wine.We will definitely be back when we visit London again. Highly recommended if you are looking for a tasty curry whilst in the London area.

Down in London for work, staying on Brick Lane, looking for some dinner and was enticed into the restaurant by the lovely guy up front. It was fairly early so I was the only one in, which may have swayed the service received. I picked the chef's special curry, and dinner was really tasty, staff were attentive and pleasant, service was spot on. Vegan/Veggie menu looked good too, so will probably fetch the Mrs when we come back down for pleasure.

Worse treatment at a restaurant in the last three years of living here, they purposefully overcharged, when we complained about our food which was the wrong order and tasted nasty, we then overheard the people that worked there swearing at us in bengali. They also swore as we left as well (again in bengali) we know as my friend is fluent. The main guy at the doors who is tall, friendly in english until you disagree and he becomes quite nasty in bengali.Overall an incredibly unpleasant place.

I've been going to the Moonlight for many years now. Always good quality and great value. Like any other Brick Lane curry house, it's best to bargain a bit and make sure it's clear exactly what's included (eg. a big beer a small glass of beer). Closest place to Whitechapel, so look no further!

Great meal. Friendly staff.good prices. Give it a try. Dont be put off because its the first restaurant in Brick Lane. Save your self the walk.

This restaurant was really good and staff great. They gave us all a discount also and gave us some extra food. The food itself was pretty decent, although the ambience might not give you that impression. good place to come with friends and enjoy Indian/Pakistani food.

It was late night curry on Brick lane. The food was good, but not the absolute best you can find in London. If you are having a late night curry it is about as good as you can get. As it was the slow season the staff was outside offering great deals with starter, meal and drinks included for a very fair price. The staff was all very friendly and attentive, but made the mistake of recommending a milder dish for my wife due to our American accents: We both like spicy and have been living here so we are used to the spice scale used to describe dishes here. overall not a bad experience and I may even go again if we are out late and looking for a bite.

Staff were friendly with attentive service. Food was good with sensibly sized portions. 2 starters, mains and sides with 2 beers and a free bottle of wine for £43

Amazing staff, very friendly. They make there food from scratch, and it tastes amazing! You definitely want to try it, both for the price, and the food! When I said that I was hoping it was hotter, they remade it for me. I can say that I will be back.
