Amazing local pub, very nice. Not giving 5 stars as I would put a better choice of lager. Food is good, but not the first choice around. Amazing staff, always friendly and helpful.

I wanted to love this place. The good bits: The staff are super nice and friendly, the pub is cute with a brilliant outdoor space with heaters. It’s a great atmosphere and they have a lovely selection of beers and wine. The bad bits: The service on a Sunday was pretty poor. It felt like there were too many people serving at the bar and not enough people serving diners. We had to clear two tables ourselves, had to ask for the table to be wiped, we had to get up from our table and ask for cutlery after our food had been given to us. I had the roast beef. I like my meat pink but this was actually raw. I can’t believe I was served that. Everything else on the plate was great. Would I go back again, yes. It’s 4 stars cause there are some great things about this pub, and I think it was an extremely busy day for them and perhaps standards were below the usual.

Lovely pub and great food, but please sort out some ventilation for the kitchen and the back room because unfortunately we came away with the smell of cooking on us

The staff were really friendly and the atmosphere is great. Good size portions are fab. Gravy and Yorkshire puds were divine. Only thing wrong were the roast potatoes. Our whole group felt that yet we still ate them as we tend to finish food on our plate. I hope they improve the roast potatoes next time! Crispy on the outside please.

top pub. Barmaid is a bit cheeky, in a fun way, and showed a deep interest in our reading material. She didn't know her ale from her bitter, so ordering beer was a "point and shoot" activity. This pub is the choice of my colleagues. Good for a leaving party.

Brilliant traditional pub in heart of Mile End. Staff are friendly and there’s a good selection of drinks and the food is very tasty. Pub has a large seated area out the back. While accessible by wheelchair, with a little effort, I don’t believe there’s a wheelchair accessible loo (just something to note!).

I booked a fabulous birthday celebration for my partners 60th including family and friends...we had wonderful food from the lovely kitchen guys, there were helpful bar staff and a fantastic owner/manager who was totally accomodating and hands on which made our night very special, as well as memorable. Thank you to Lucas@The Lord Tredegar

Nice pub, but used to be much better. Used to have a great selection of beer on cask and tap, but the variety has really gone down hill recently. Needs to get itself back up to scratch to match its sister pubs The Boleyn Tavern and the Holly Tree

A very welcoming pub where the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food was good too and our group especially enjoyed the quiz. Would definitely recommend and we will be going back at some point even though we live the other side of London.

Great little pub with lots of character. Wide choice of lagers and ales too. The food here is very good too (although smaller menu at the moment which is fair enough). There's a great beer garden out the back too. Well worth visiting if you're in the area. Extra marks for having a pub cat (Beyonce)
