Absolutely terrible experience at this pub. Beer was average, service was awful. Hostile bar staff and, although states that they allow dogs, this pub is not dog friendly at all. Member of staff told us, extremely rudely, to put our dog on the floor despite the fact that she is tiny (4kg), tends to get stood on if she is on the floor and was sitting far away from the table and no one was eating any food in our group. I’ve been to countless (and I mean countless) pubs in London with her and never had this issue before.Advice to the owner: change your bar staff if you want this pub to survive. We’re not short on choice for pubs in wapping and will not be coming back here.

Great old pub, been here since 1545 and you can tell, but that just adds to its character which is fascinating. It's London so it's expensive but worth the money for the experience. I had the Sunday roast and I can tell you it was delicious!

The decorations here for Christmas are just wonderful. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Bangers and Mash was absolutely wonderful. All in all, I'd say it's a great place for dinner and a drink.

A lovely traditional pub. Great riverside location. Fantastic decor. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was standard pub grub done very well. Totally recommend

Definitely one of the very best pubs on the river Thames. Great atmosphere, nice staff, fabulous pies and fresh billingsgate fish which me and my girlfriend had one of each. Delicious kruscovice Czech imported lager, nice selection of ales and wines. Superb

Good place for a gathering if a little on the narrow side. Busy pub too. Lively and friendly with a good mix of people. Just don't order straight run unless you like Captain Morgans (no one likes Captain Morgans)

Great little pub, beautifully decorated for Christmas. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Good food and and a great position next to the river in Wapping. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Came here on one of the afternoon to come for a drink. It has amazing view of the Thames river from the beer garden. Ordered a nachos to share and really great experience being here cosy and pleasant!

This pub is an absolute must if you are around Wapping. Food is delicious and super cheap!! Drinks are good also, but the best thing is the service, Michael served us, and he is an absolutely lovely man, that makes you feel at home. There is also a nice terrace (see photo attached).
