Turks Head in Tower Hamlets

Not the typical pub food. This one has a better quality, more exquisite menu. The entrecôte was really good, especially the side, the potatoes gratin, but what I really loved were the desserts. They were delicious, especially the apple pastry one with pistachio. I loved it 🤤

Probably one of the best places I've been. It's calm, interesting food and location. Prices are great, staff is relaxed and nice to chat to.I can't pinpoint exactly what it gives its vibe but I think it's the uniqueness of the place.

Not ce, quiet and chilled. I went for breakfast, nice layout, still got the original essence of the old time boozer but has a French bistro/hipster twist to it. Nice outdoor area with fresh coffee and pastries.

Fantastic French food in the heart of Wapping! 🇫🇷 Give the entrecôte and gratin dauphinois a try. It’s to die for! The XXL brownie to finish off our meal was also a strong choice. I didn’t really understand the previous reviews criticising the service as we were served really quickly and the waitress was very attentive. The classic French tunes’ playlist was also a nice touch and brought back some nice memories 🎶 Overall we had a great time at The Turk’s Head and being local we will most likely return for drinks or food again! Santé! 🍷

Fantastic prices, Fantastic food, beautiful outdoor seating (with heat). My wife said they were the best Beans she's ever had. Only negative was the rude people who sat next to us, coughing and blowing their noses. Too many people around London don't seem to realize that there is a global pandemic. So if you go to Turks Head, go early to avoid the covid crowd.

Finally a great French bistrot in Wapping who is closing late My wife and I got the Chicken Supreme and the new Coq Au Vin it was divine , good saint Emillion red wine not cheap but totally worth it. Bravo!

We went at the Turks with some friends for very late drinks , we stayed in the patio as the inside was full , hopefully their heaters did the job and it was perfectly warm , super trendy converted horse box and good music selection , French of course .We will come back for dinner soon as it looks yummy.Love the disco bathrooms !!

Stopped here for lunch after a business meeting at the nearby studios.Amazing place! Hidden in a beautiful quiet street with nice outdoor space. Stunning rustic interior inside with plants and vintage style finishing. Very amtospheric for both rainy weather and sunny days!I ordered the tuna tartare. It was delicious! Very tasty and loved the addition of the egg. Deffo a great place for a weekend brunch/lunch or a casual dinner.Very good service and tables are also significantly far away from each other.This building also has very interesting history behind it and is a true symbol of community with all profits going straight to support local community.Worth going to if you're in this part of town or a gastro pub fanatic!

Really cute little pub. Had been renovated so not very traditional, more elevated feel. French bistro food and nice wine. A bit pricey and service a bit slow but overall a nice ‘date place’ or one to take the parents.

Very very good. Loved the service, atmosphere and experience. The food was delicious.I’ve never had a perfectly cooked steak in London ever. Medium rare always comes well done but the Turks Head was perfectly cooked.Didn’t like the apple dessert very much but the staff were really receptive to the positive comments. Had a lovely experience. Will decoy one again.
