We camr here on a Friday night, having never been to Spitalfields before. Even with the market area being eerily quiet, it was difficult for us to locate the premises. After walking around the market for what seemed like ages, we eventually found the Wagamama (upstairs, behind a fitness studio!) We went in and were quickly seated on the benches, and when a booth became free, we were moved over.I wouldn't recommend sitting in a booth if you are hungry or in a rush, as it was so difficult to get the staff's attention to order and to pay the bill. Once the staff were at our table, they were nice. The food had mixed reviews. The veggie bao buns were delicious and the prawn starter were okay (it's hard to get deep fried food wrong!). The firecracker wasn't as spicy as I'd like and the prawn ramen tasted of nothing. I had to add soy sauce, seasoning and lime to make it tasty.

Like all Wagamamas, Wagamama Spitalfields has a big menu. All menu options are great, and the location is nice. There is an indoor section and a cooler outdoor section, in the second mezzanine level of Spitalfields. It can be a bit hard to find but all staircases will lead you to it.

Ordered wagamama reman, should be one of the signature ramen, but I was so disappointed. broth tasted like water, shrimps were raw, chicken is very dry. Two stars for good services.

Worst experience ever. Restaurant practically empty but yet told had to que up with others outside. When I asked the manager why people couldn't be seated, I was told that kitchen was overwhelmed by orders. Really that's your reason?? Gave it twenty minutes went back few extra people inside (see photo) but still told I had to que outside never going back there. Ever!!!

The staff were friendly and polite. The food and drinks came out very quickly - which was fine on this occasion as we were just having a quick meal on pir way home from work, but usually i would like to sit and enjoy my friend's company for a while. The food was very average also. Noodle/tofu dosh had no flavour and so i had to chuck a load of soy sauce on instead! Nice outdoor seating area though with a great view over Spitafields.

The food is very tasty but not mind blowing and the service is ok. The location is convenient.

The curly hair waiter is very far from "good service" definition. He didn't welcome us, no eye contact, we had to call him to order drinks. At the end when I paid our bill, I didn't give him a tip because I have been ignored as a guest. Mr curly hair sarcasticly highlighted on my bill "service not included".I realy like wagamama food but my last experience with one of yours greedy waiters make my feeling not to welcomed in wagamama.

Katsu was okay but they sent out chicken instead of tofu, much to the delight of the vegan of the group.
