Eat 17 in Waltham Forest

Excellent quality and taste. We ordered the sweet potato curry and the halloumi salad - and we were not disappointed! The restaurant's location is also great, the staff was very helpful - overall a great experience. The only reason for the rating of 4 and not of a 5, is because of its limited choices for vegans and vegetarians - other than these 2 options there is nothing. Having said that, these 2 dished are definitely recommended and definitely worth the visit.

Very nice food and great for a weekend lunch or occasion. Staff are excellent and very attentive, wine is reasonably priced and good quality. Fell over a few pushchairs but to be fair they belonged mostly to the customers.

I was looking forward to having dinner in this place yesterday. Sadly, I was left too disappointed. The staff were quite friendly and the place was nice. However, and it's a very big however, the food was a massive let down. A curry flavour in a burger is unheard off. Very tiny portions, supposed to be from the 'Large' Section of the menu, and very expensive. Never go back again.

Very limited breakfast menu. And what is available is very seriously overpriced. Having said that it is a nice ambience for a coffee and chat. The supermarket section is a delight to wonder around but again you can buy some of the same items in Sainsbury etc at lower prices

Lovely staff, they're always happy to help and really kind. The food too is delicious - it does get busy so try and pre-book online beforehand!!

My first visit but hopefully won’t be my last.Even though the menu was understandably reduced due to Covid issues, there was still a great choice of restaurant classics and brunch dishes. The Merguez sausage and full English were the standouts and certainly set us up for the day.Excellent coffee, cocktails made with care and quality ingredients, and friendly, efficient service from initial welcome to friendly farewell.A real gem on a competitive high street.

So accommodating, helpful and lovely hosting my Brother's wedding reception. They couldn't do enough for us, the food was delicious and the mixologist was on point! Wonderful cocktails.

Perfect place for Sunday Brunch. Excellent, good value food, and wonderfully friendly service. We had a baby with us, and he was as welcome as anyone else. We've been to Eat 17 many times in the past, and will be back again in the future.

I sat in the cafe part on a cold Saturday afternoon in December. It's a small space with a cosy and very friendly atmosphere. I had a (very good, not too sweet) mulled wine and spent a good hour reading a book by the window. Staff seem relaxed and happy, and not at all pushy. Would definitely recommend!(There were a few families with small kids, so it appears to be kid friendly too)

Reserved a table for 12 guests on a Sunday for a wedding reception dinner. Booking staff and management were extremely helpful and went above and beyond with our booking, moving the area to accommodate more guests and an early arrival. Serving staff were excellent, quick and efficient. In particular, our main server Maria was exceptional and really went the extra mile to make sure everyone in our party was well taken care of. We chose this restaurant because of their friendly local atmosphere, excellent food and great service and they did not disappoint. Would 100% recommend (also, try the chicken burger, it's delicious).
