Best fish & chips I've tasted in a long time. The cod was freshly cooked and just how I like it. The chips were amazing with lots of onion vinegar which is my favourite. The portions are great. Got to give this place a 5 star.

Wow the Food Was Delicious, i had cod and chips with mushy peas , i have never tasted mushy peas before i would highly recommend it , not forgetting the onion vinegar and pickled onions Yummy. 10 / 10.

When I back in Chingford I have to go to the original.The mount is always changing with different shops opening and closing but one place survives. One thing is for sure that Fish and Chicken always delivers food and over the counter service a high standard. Plus the workers are friendly and informative.I got a huge chips and a very tasty chicken, mushroom pie, mushy peas and curry sauce all for a great price. 🏆 ✌️ 💪🏼Looking forward to next time. ❤️ 🐟 🍟

Previously thought thus was a great fish and chip shop but cider and chips was poor, chips were all crispy and hard, fish was skinny and a bit hard.

Amazing chippy! Always great service from the chaps that work here, all food is cooked to order with the exception of some of the popular menu like sausages which are ready to go. Everything is cooked to perfection, chips are crispy and golden and the pricing is okay.

The chips were fresh and the chicken had a light batter coating and not over done. Reasonably priced, I'd recommend them and will most likely return.Update: Best fried chicken & chips in Chingford Mount, can’t be beat for the price and fast and friendly service.

Best bit of fish I've eaten in years but unfortunately, chips were far from perfect. Not writing the shop off just yet so will definitely give it another shot to wow me. 🤞🏼😁

Nice haddock & chips (under a tenner, incl water!). Staff really passionate about their job, good number of regular customers around 19.30 on weekdays
