One of the worst restaurants I have ever been in UK in terms of service and quality. I visited this place on 12/3 with few of my friends and started with drinks. Couple of guys in the groups ordered tea and it ended up tasting very salty. When we called the waiter and asked for it, he was clearly upset by the question and replied in a rude way and gave weird explanation that it will taste like this since it's Yorkshire tea. Taken back by this response we returned the tea and asked him to taste it himself. After few mins, the waiters came back and informed that they prepared the tea with the water from the kettle which was washed with salt water and apparently not cleaned well. No apologies or no regrets, just an info was passed. We tried some fries and ironically it had no salt. We decided to not try anything more, stopped the order and left, but no one even cared to address the situation.Definitely wouldn't recommend this restaurant, there are lots in the area and we tried in another one nearby where we enjoyed our dinner. Very bad experience. Couldn't post this review without selecting a star and hence the one star.

I came to Haweli Restaurant for the first time. I must say the atmosphere was very welcoming and really beautiful with the calm music in the background.I ordered all sorts of dishes which was perfect and amazing ! I would love to try other different dishes when I next time visit! The waiters are so nice and having a good smiling on their faces. If you needed to be severed something to the table they will come once and awhile to check if everything is doing well which I found extremely nice and thoughtful!I also seen the owner and the chef popping out to say hello and having a good laugh!Definitely would recommend this place especially for curry’s lovers or if you are just a beginner! Thank you again Haweli for the lovely food and for sure I’ll be visiting soon !

I went to this place with my family a day before. The waiters were very slow and lazy. We did two buffet orders and 2 of the menus. They had no nans ready so I had to wait for 10 minutes. No waiter came to tell me why there was a delay. I sat on my seat and waited. A chef came with an order and I again requested the nan. He said it's now on the buffet table. I requested that can he bring one for me but he made a face and left.I was very disappointed with the service as it took forever. Food was just ok, nothing special. Will warn everyone not to waste your money.

The interior design was so nice. The service was not great, it took a while to place any kind of order. We had to constantly leave our table to ask for glasses, drinks and chase several times to make the order.

We read that they have received  Best Customer's Choice Award at the CurryLife Awards and that was the reason we decided to hop in on my special day, birthday.Booked online using Google booking. When we arrived i showed the booking but doesn't seem they prepared the table for us.... No spoons no water. AnywayWe ordered papadom with chatni , chicken tikka & tandoori chicken in starters. For main course we went for tapeli chicken and Naan.Everything came at the same time which is not what we expect. Starter followed by main is what i prefer. I had really high hopes from this restaurant but both the starters were not tasty. In main course tapeli chicken went totally wrong as what we had was puerly turmeric for every bite of food yes too much of turmeric. In the whole dining experience what i liked is Papadom and Cobra beer that i order to have with starter.I hope that is not everyday case and may be our bad day....
