Island Spot in Waltham Forest

Absolutely disappointed with my order especially the steam fish, the inside and the bones was black and smell very bad, it had no taste, with only sweet potato and minimal veg swimming in about a litre of liquid. I had to throw it in the bin, this is last time I'm ever ordering from this restaurant again.

Arguably the worst experience I have had with food since prison. Disgusting dry chicken it is impossible it was cooked today or even yesterday. Coleslaw was runny and looked horrific. What a waste of hard earned money as I had to throw it away after a couple of bites. Disappointed and disgusted anyone would serve a fellow human this sort of food. The drink was the best part.

Among the best carribean food I ever had. Ackee and saltfish was amazing. Festivals and coleslaw out of this world. Everything was great and delivery was fast. Just the plantains I wish they were made to order to keep the freshness.

Over priced the menu nor the staff tell you have you have pay extra for rice and peas two meals for nearly 20 pound is extortion. Dry chicken over salted curry. Rice is also not fresh. Very disappointed

Visited around 4 times now. All friends I have recommended this place to have loved it. Even done a big order recently of around 8 meals, everything was right and everyone enjoyed the meal. Authentic jamaican food and definitely one of the best I've been too. Patties are delicious and there mac and cheese... Man, you just gotta order it 😋. Loved everything else too(oxtail, curry goat & fried chicken)

We came with friends as read the reviews. No parking is a big problem! Then the service is so slow.portion sizes are a fair size but the meat quality is beyond poor, chewy over cooked and definitely not fresh.The soup was good a bit warm and a rim of grease on top. They seemed More concerned on getting orders in and then left for ages. All the group was disappointed and when complained music was turned up and food brought back reheated even salad now warm! Sticky floors andThen a ticket on the car at the end of the evening. Stay away from this over cooked large portions but cold and definitely not fresh Carriben restaurant!

Best Jerk chicken I have had in London! And the portions are large, the value for money is fantastic. My wife had the soup which was also delicious.The guys that work there are super friendly too. We will definitely be making this a frequent place for great Carribean food!

Oh Lord where can I start, The food was simply marvellous I could not get enough. My mouth was drooling as I waited at my ultra comfortable table and seat inside the beautifully decorated dining area.When my curry goat arrived and I took my first bite of cooked to perfection succulent meat I got a small taste of heaven, I just closed my eyes and basked in the pleasure from the flavours LORD HAVE MERCY.I will definitely be visiting again with the whole neighborhood. Simply great outstanding service
