Khushboo in Waltham Forest

I used to absolutely adore this place. Amazing food, amazing staff, never been disappointed before. Since their reopening, I ordered my usual meal and every dish was completely inedible. I called them to give them the benefit of the doubt, but ultimately inform them so they can fix the issue to stop other customers from possibly complaining. The staff member I spoke to on the phone offered a refund when I was next in to apologise, even said I could keep the food. However as it was probably the worse meal I have had, it sadly went in the bin. £30 down the drain. But 5/5 for customer service right? .. Fast forward to the day of my refund. Chef became very angry, refused to give me my money as they would be at a loss? Oh but the customer who paid the service should be? The chef said how the man I spoke to, Mussamil, never offered to give me my money back only food replacement.funny enough i explained this unlikely outcome when I initially called and took the guys name down to avoid a problem occurring to which he told me he would write it down to avoid problems.. that didn’t happen. It was never discussed to get food replacement only a refund but lies were made up to avoid my money being returned. I am extremely disappointed in the way I have been treated as I have been going here for as long as I can remember. I even returned here despite moving away from the area. The chef has honestly treated me like I was making them out to be a fool. I was nothing but respectful but he would just not allow me to explain and became very defensive. I eventually left with my refund, but will not be returning as the money was slammed in my face.

We’ve lived in walthamstow for five years and tried lots of Indian takeaways - this is by far the best. Large portions, really tasty, not too oily, nice meat, crispy poppadoms and excellent nans. The staff (including delivery) are all lovely and food comes quickly. I won’t be going anywhere else from now on!

We've ordered from Khushboo now a few times and have always been very happy with the food. Portion sizes are generous, good flavour, and not overly greasy like a lot of other Indian takeaways. I ordered the saag chicken which was tasty. My husband ordered the Pasanda chicken which he enjoyed, a bit sweet but this is probably because of the coconut. We also ordered the brinjal baji which was a bit greasy but not too bad, and the tarka dhal, again ok, personally I think it could've had a bit more tarka/spice but that's just my taste. None of the dishes we had were very spicy/hot. Overall I would recommend

Absolutely amazing!. I love this restaurant, it’s near to us. It comes on time. I order a Korma and it’s so tasty, onion bhajis!.my husband likes the seafood curries.Like all Indian restaurants it’s not cheap!.

Been using these guys for years. Food always excellent. Ordered again last night when they were extremely busy with mother's day deliveries. Arrived hot and tasty. Great customer service.

This food is just not good. The butter chicken is cooked with coconut instead of cashews, when asked they said this is the recipe. Also customer service non existent.

Been ordering my food from here for a little while now and can honestly say the food is excellent, always tastes nice and fresh cooked to a great standard. The service is great and staff are always polite. Highly recommend A star 🌟

I've been getting takeaways from here for the past 15 years. Do not be put off by the outside the food from Kushboo is absolutely delicious. The portions are generous and the deliveries are always on time. The service is polite and I've never had a problem
