Interesting concept of Mexican fine dining made using British ingredients. Enjoyed all of the dishes and the wine pairing went well. Recommend trying, though would probably not rush back. Service was generally warm and friendly, though it was let down as follows:- arrived 10-20 minutes after booked slot due to all tube trains held, phoned ahead and was very abruptly told that the full menu would not be available, wouldn't be enough time, tables were all back to back booked. None of this was the case - the tables were not all booked and we were told we had 30 minutes "to relax" or similar at the end. Just ridiculous and inflexible.- noted in advance one of us was pescatarian. No flexibility on menu options other than to offer a "parsnip puree". Not acceptable taking into account prices.- felt short changed on the wine pairing. Do not expect any generosity there.- bar downstairs is excellent and well worth a visit, but told curtly no tables available (bar was also fine - really great Mexican bartender who was delightful) - this wasn't the case at all. Asked a couple of times.Overall a good experience and recommended. Plenty of room for improvement/ service can be refined.

This must be the most amazing Mexican food experience outside of Mexico.Every taco we had was the best one we had had ever... And the mole was extraordinary.Carefully crafted dishes full of flavor, accompanied by well curated drinks.

The service was impeccable from walking in the door, to leaving and all in between. Finally a tasting menu that made me full! The flavours of all the dishes were so pronounced, but none of the ingredients were fighting each other. Food and drinks were all explained perfectly. Big thank you to Eduardo.

Perfectly decorated place, lovely atmosphere and amazing service. In the plate the service is consistent but is missing some more details to really be astonishing.I might go back and try their short rib instead of the octopus.

Amazing experience. I made a mistake and didn't realise that they have a minimum age of 12 for the restaurant. They were very understanding and accommodated us. Food was excellent. Will definitely return

I had a vision the other day of what the Metaverse would look like. It’s a warm place, with soft lights that trigger fuzzy feelings of joy, tasteful design all around, and a light buzz of life and excitement all around you. It’s a place where food experiences take on a new meaning, not only bringing superior flavors to your grateful taste buds, but also transporting you to new destinations and enabling you to be an active participant in the sacred act of readying a meal for consumption. This place looks very much like Kol. Luckily a place like this still exists in the real world, and we don’t need virtual escapism yet to experience the beauty of life.Kol is a Mexican inspired place that only offers tasting menus, a 6-course one or a 9-course one. Set menus mean giving up control, which is probably why they often trigger mixed feelings. But in this case, Kol can take all the control they want. Because they absolutely nailed it, on the orchestration, the timing, the flavor crescendo:- Calamar: this delicious little bite with Squid, Cashew Mole, and Cauliflower gets all your senses triggered. The mix is excellent, and for a second there I stopped hearing the sounds around me to focus on the taste.- Langoustine taco: spicy and elegant, this taco makes you want to come back for more.- Verde: an amazingly refreshing mushroom salad with parsnip and a lot of other greens that elevated the taste. Absolutely delicious.- Pulpo: this dish is not only tasty, it’s also beautiful. The octopus lies elegantly on the plate looking like Botticelli’s Venus. With it come a plate of juicy looking bone marrows, a classy leather pouch filled with tacos, and a discrete terracotta bowl filled with thin potato pieces, seaweed, and other herbs. Surprise! It’s “make your own fatty octopus taco” time. With a pair of scissors you start cutting the tentacles to turn them into bite sizes pieces, then you grab a spoon of luscious bone marrow that you spread on the taco like some decadent butter. Add in the pulpo bites, the seaweed and the potatoes, a spicy sauce, et voilà - your scrumptious taco is ready for consumption. And it tastes like magic.- Flan: this was the final act in this incredible play. The flan tasted light and creamy, and the sourdough caramel crispiness added little islands of grounding in this velvety sea of sweetness.I almost forgot: the delicious, smoky, slightly spicy Margarita Mescal, a drink so tasty that it makes you want to consume it like fruit juice. Don’t. Just savor it, and try to let the ice cubes slowly melt in that enticing elixir.

We had been waiting to go here for a long time and finally got ourselves a table. It was soooo worth the wait. All of the team were so down to earth but so friendly and warm at the same time. The service was really relaxing but so attentive, which made the experience such a positive one. It had a relaxed feel to the meal whilst delivered Michelin star quality. The open kitchen added to the experience as you were able to see, hear and smell what was going on throughout the event. The food was unbelievable from start to finish, delivering on the true taste of Mexico whilst surprising and delighting at every opportunity with unique twists. Our table all had different favourite dishes, my personal choice being the secial squid dish. All round fantastic experience and would fully recommend. I'd be surprised if this isn't starred in the next 12 months.

One of the BEST meals I’ve had in London - excellent Mexican fare (the langoustine, the mole, the octopus and the flan were my favorite from the set menu), awesome wine and cocktail list (especially the mezcal) and fantastic service in a very chic setting. Will definitely be back (as soon as I can get a reservation!)

Very special restaurant, finally doing justice to traditional Mexican cuisine with the best of British ingredients. Comfortably the best Mexican fine dining experience in London and some of the best food I've had in the last couple of years. Incredible restaurant but be prepared to pay for the experience (which is well worth it in my opinion!)

Mexican food with a great atmosphere - should be Michelin star very soon!!! The 6-course menu was fantastic, and the service was at a good pace. The staff were so friendly and explained the dishes excellently. The wine - while eclectic worked well with every dish. Superb!
