La Cafeteria in Waltham Forest

Amazing place! Came in with my friends and their children, had a great time! Excellent food, proper home made, incredible portions, very satisfying and great environment. Very clean as well! Absolutely recommend!

Super friendly cafe, an absolute bargain for the quality and presentation of their dishes! Breakfast is definitely their strong feature to me - cups of coffee size bath tub!Probably one of the best Shakshuka I ever had, and their vegetarian or healthier options are also very yummy! - I am thinking of their salmon breakfast, to mention one. Staff is very polite and friendly, service is very quick.Don't get fooled by the lack of hipster hype - this is a true and very affordable gem!

First of all I would say if you are really hungry that’s the last place you want to go, we waited for up to 2hrs to even get our food and they messed up the order, we were charged for a milkshake and they didn’t add it to our food.The chips were dry and barely warm.The spicy crispy burger 🍔 hit different though, yummy 🤤 af. I really enjoyed it

Breakfast on a Sunday is great. Staff are really friendly. There is also outside seating area which is very nice in the summer time. Would definitely recommend it.

I can't believe that I haven't made a review on this sooner! I come here very often and am always very surprised with the meals. They are always very tasty and filling (in a good way). They also allow dogs in the area and staff are VERY nice! I've never had the garlic bread before and would definitely recommend it! It was very tasty and had a nice crunch to it. I had the chicken linguine, which I did not take a picture of, and it was delicious and had tasty greens too! The tuna nicoise salad was excellent, came with a two tuna steaks which were both delicious. It was a great meal size for one person! The food was amazing and the waitress was great, sweet, funny and kind. Highly recommended 👌 The food isn't cheap but it's worth every penny. Such a good atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!

Nice little cafe at Wood Street. It's much bigger than it looks form the outside as it extends to the back with outdoor seating.I had the Full English with a cappuccino and it was lovely. Fresh and good quality ingredients used. Sausage was thick and full and the mushrooms were gorgeous.I thought it was weird that it came with one egg as I thought these came with two eggs standard, and how much is an egg really to try and skimp on that.Otherwise. Great experience and massive portions to be honest. Will def recommend and visit myself again sooon.

This place is consistently amazing. Great tasting food with a very varied menu. Definitely something for everyone. No matter whether the breakfast, lunch or dinner menu. It’s all fresh, tasty, good portion and excellent value for money.The people who own this business are wonderful, always happy and good hearted and it’s such a joy to visit.We have been going for many years and never been disappointed. Whether it’s just the two of us or in a large group.Love the fact that it is now also dog friendly in their covered back garden.

Nice local restaurant with lovely garden in the back. Decent menu with good selection of lighter options too. We loved the garlic bread! Really friendly service
