My partner and I live in Leyton and I’ve walked past this restaurant so many times and just overlooked it… don’t do the same, this place is a Leyton must! The food is truly delicious, authentic Portuguese and the service is amazing, our waiter was lovely and welcoming! Thanks!

Just wow, I personally have been looking for authentic Portuguese food for the past 3 years in East London and have found this gem of a place by recommendation. Amazing service from the start, great food and drinks and just overall experience fantastic. A big thank you to Paulo and the whole staff for a great night. Will definitely be coming back to a place that feels like home.

Outstanding customer service. Excellent food (specially the grilled fish mix) and wines (white Bucellas). Owners and even Chef Orlando come to greet and know your feedback about the service.Feels like Portugal. Was full due to birthday parties and Portuguese football on telly. Booked in advance.Will definitely recommend. Don't need to go to Stockwell to taste amazing Portuguese cuisine. If you're in East London, go to Oceano Restaurant.

A really friendly family run restaurant with great value portions of very tasty food. We had prawns in garlic and a seafood and rice sharer dish and all bang on. Thank you for a lovely dining experience.

First time I've been back to Oceano for a couple of years. When I first moved to Leyton it was my go-to restaurant, and then a couple of years back it changed hands and went off. I heard it had recently been taken over again by new management a few weeks ago so wanted to give it another try. I'm happy to report that it seems they are back on form. I had a very nice plate of clams in garlic, oil and lemon.. followed by the Bacalhau a Casa (fried salt cod)... Both dishes were really tasty, and went down well with some good quality Vinho Verde .. I will go back again
