A nice dog friendly pub close to the forest. Had a proper Sunday Roast and relaxing drink before walking it off around Connaught Water. A nice way to spend the day.

·

Great pub grub at a good price. Staff really helpful. Pub is dog friendly.

I went yesterday for lunch and had a roast dinner and I have to say it was one of the BEST roasts I've ever had. All the staff are friendly, the pub is family oriented and welcome dogs as well. All in all a really lovely place

Lovely pub on the outskirts of Epping Forest. Very nice Sunday roast. Pub has parking, is easy to get to and is very nicely done out inside.

Lovely spacious pub - food was really nice and the staff were really friendly! My two year old decided it was a good time to start his terrible two phase and attempted several times to go behind the bar - luckily the staff were very lovely and understanding. Really dog friendly as well. Will definitely be going back and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice pub atmosphere 👍

Food was mediocre.. they were very low on staff which meant that every table had empty plates on them and food was all over the floor.. so finding a clean table was a task in itself, the waitress passed by and didn’t remove any of our plates once we had finished so I had to move them myself on to another table where there was another stack of plates from previous customers!.. I found what looked like two eyelashes in my plate too! The service was slow and our food didn’t get delivered to our table at the same time.. on my visit last year I had a similar experience so I will not be visiting again for this reason.Cleanliness & good service are very important in the restaurant industry and Ember Inns failed miserably.

Food was excellent, unfortunately covid reduced staff to a minimum so there was long waits between courses. They had been upfront about a lack of staff earlier in the week and did offer to allow us to cancel. The vegan roast was great. Will try again.

I would never eat at this place again the sunday roast was dry and cold. Waited 90 minutes for our food with our grandchild who was getting restless i asked how much longer waitress said its coming now then another minutes later it turned up.Food was cold, dry and was not nice.☹☹☹

We visit this pub to watch The Allbeats play a good cross section of music. It is always a lovely atmosphere here, never feel as if there may be any kind of trouble, everyone is there to have a good time. New Manager recently taken over during Covid and she seems to have coped with the worst crisis she must have encountered.....

Nice enough pub. Quite an extensive menu and the food is good value for money. I had the gammon and 2 eggs and it was tasty. Decor is a bit tired but that's just me nit picking really. Solid three on five.
