Sahara Grill - Leyton in Waltham Forest

There's no doubting the vision and ambition of Sahara Grill. It's an imaginatively conceived restaurant with little expense spared.As a grill house, they offer an extenstive menu, with dishes that are presented straightforwardly. We can't help but wonder, however, how much better these could be if a small fraction of the creativity put into the aesthetical side of things was put into elevating and refining some, especially the mains and especially to justify the prices of a few.There was no faulting their service though. Front of house was regimented, being as welcoming and as accommodating as any restaurant we've been to.

Theres parking on the street which can be busy. Pay and display. Lovely restaurant. Clean and presentable. Made a booking since this place can be quite busy at times. No physical menu only digital which can get from the site/QR code. Excellent quality of food and taste great too! I ordered the chicken tenders as starters and the lamb steak as the main. I do recommend it. Unfortunately there was a bit of delay due to the fact we was around the corner so not visible to the staff to take our order. I had to prompt them to take our order which they apologised and took our order. Apart from that no other issues. Toilets are very clean. Highly satisfied and would recommend.

Very poor customer service. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Our food was served cold and there were items missing from the meal we had ordered. When we confronted the waiters about this, they said that this specific item had been removed but as a customer how were we supposed to know this if you don’t update your menus? We weren’t told about this until after the food had been served.We also were billed three times incorrectly before they got this right and had also put additional food and drinks on our bill that we had not ordered. They stated that they have a new system in place and as customers we should have understood this. As customers, it makes no sense for us to understand their new system when it’s their job to do things correctly. The workers did not have any remorse or take responsibility for their actions.Overall, the experience was very poor and a waste of money.

Great all round. Food was fresh and tasteful staff were attentive, was looked after by Adnan who was excellent, very helpful and professional.

The service was amazing and the staff was very kind, especially Adam! He’s was attentive and his hospitality was great! Thank you! The food was also great, you think it’s small at first but extremely filling. Definitely recommend, will make sure to come back soon 😊

Food was lovely (pic of the Sautée prawns 🤤) but one of the server was a bit off. However overall lovely experience; would go again. Was also super helpful that if not splitting the bill, they allow each person to pay for what they ordered very easily which is helpful for large groups.

The staff are so amazing, friendly and welcoming - Imran in particular really just made our evening and was so smiley and attentive. The food was so delicious, the mocktails were tasty and we really had a wonderful time. Can't wait to visit again!

Had a great experience at Sahara Grill. The service was spot on and the quality of food was excellent. I had the bbq beef burger with steak fries. We also had a gelato vanilla ice cream which was also really nice. Overall the experience was great. I've been to their other branches too and I've never been disappointed. Highly recommended.

I’ve been to a different branch every time I went, but loving the experience in the other branch made me want to try this place out. I’ve tried a lot of their menu before, but not from here. The building was beautiful to look at, very clean and very polite staff. It’s always a pleasant experience going to a Sahara grill! Food is always on point with an artistic presentation. Menu has plenty to choose from and staff keep checking up on you to make sure everything is alright. I’d definately recommend this place!

This is my first time in Sahara Grill Leyton with my sweet family. We enjoyed the atmosphere and food. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They keep coming and investigating if we need anything else. Lamb Sirloin was cooked very nice as the gravy or sauce was outstanding, chicken saute platter was not that great as we are expecting anyway Lamb Chops was very nice as staff (Ridwan) recommended to try which was not disappointed. Overall experience was good. Prices are bit higher but I think alright for the food and presentation. 😀
