Chose from the special menu on the board. Soup for starter. Delicious, lovely and hot. Had crab and chilli linguine for a main. Amazing. Best food I've eaten for while.

Tasty food in lovely clean surroundings. Ruined only by 10% service charge auto-inclusion for 2 people, which I didn't spot that on the menu.

We have a week off and just really fancied a long, slow Italian lunch. we could not have chosen better.The food was exceptional, incredibly tasty, generous and beautifully presented and the service was wonderful.We hadn't been before, but we will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone without reservation.

Menu was not appealing, they only had dishes that could be cooked with basic ingredients. No pasta with seafood / shellfish. Pizza was good but ordinary.

I recently ordered food for a dinner party of 6. Prior to placing my order, Adriano helpfully suggested items from the menu and we flexed the items ordered to accommodate varying dietary requirements. My order was delivered on time and was piping hot! The food had been freshly prepared and the quality and standard of each starter and main were exceptionally high.Overall, I experienced a professional, approachable and friendly service. First visit to highly recommended Sofalinos. Clean, airy pleasant restaurant. The staff were friendly and very helpful. There was a Specials Board and good menu to choose from. There was also a set menu for two or three courses at very reasonable price. The choice on the set menu allowed a good choice to cover all tastes. Fresh bread was brought to the table while we selected our meals I had soup of the day and unlike some places there was a decent portion of delicious soup....picked from set menu. My friends had the Mozzarella starter again from set menu. We all had the fish of the day, sea bass, on a small portion of mashed potato with green veg. The fish was gorgeous. The somewhat small portion allowed room for the chefs trifle and it was really good. Overall an excellent find.....the staff could not have been more helpful

A really warm and authentic Italian experience- a lovely warm and friendly welcome every time and excellent attentive service from all the staff. The food is home made, thoughtfully and carefully presented . The specials are exactly that - special - creative different dishes from the usual Italian menus - delicious and with fresh quality ingredients. Excellent starters with an impressive range of options. Pasta with swordfish and olives was divine - we all ordered it. The atmosphere offers a warm and relaxing ambience. A wonderful local resource to be treasured in Whetstone.
