Tex Bites in Waltham Forest

Having recently just opened after a period of closure, I was very disappointed to see the prices have sky rocketed and the food standard hasn't improved at all. Still the same meals and slightly smaller portion size don't warrant a 40-50% price hike. Very smoky inside the store with the BBQ which they really need to sort out. Very disappointed as a previous favourite has now plummeted in my eyes.Seriously think management should look at the prices and reconsider as a lot of people I know have the same opinions on the pricing structure. Overpriced and just the same as before. There are better alternatives available locally which are cheaper.

The prices have gone ridiculous now 5 wings for £5 absolutely crazy loved tex bites before won't go back again now until they change their prices. Before it was 5 wings for £3. I wont go back.

The most crispy wings you will ever have. Must try. Now backyard BBQ have joined them so more choices 👍

Disappointed, was a regular customer before they came under new management.The fries were half crinkle and half straight cut, half were burnt and half were undercooked and soggy.Burger was cold even though it was freshly made? Quality of the chicken has dropped and they are being very stingy with sauce all around.Prices have jumped up quite a bit and have no real justification for it.The store is full of BBQ smoke as they cook, there is no proper ventilation so your eyes burn and you keep coughing.Sadly another great place has been ruined.

My go to for fried chicken. Delicious!Closed and absolutely missing it though. No sign posted for reopening but I'm hoping those shutters are lifted soon!

Used to visit this place years ago the standard hasn't dropped since visited today and the food was fresh made to order and just how i remember it especially the Mexicana Burger that was 10/10 cannot go wrong with anything you order here to be honest everything is always fresh and the customer service is very good will definitely be back for more and do recommend you to try it out

Great fried chicken, super crispy! Gutted they don’t do the crinkled chips no more. Service is hit and miss sometimes but the food is good nevertheless.

Very nice chicken , nice flavour and not too greasy, crinkle chips are always fresh and I love the chilli sauce too. Place is very clean , only downsides is small portions and sometimes clueless staff constantly getting orders wrong

Great Alternative To KFC, And Very Different To Your Everyday Run Of The Mill East London Chicken Shop. Highly Recommend The Mexicana Burger And Jalapeno Bombers. They Serve Crinkled Cut Fries Here Which Makes For A Good Change Along With Crispy Chicken Wings.

I love the mexicana burger meal. The burger was well prepared and tasted so nice.I have to mention that the chips are so crispy and tasty! Thank you so much!!
