This was my first experience of Hare & Hounds, but I probably won't be coming back. My girlfriend had to wait almost an hour for her food, and the staff were incredibly rude when she checked in. I asked for a cocktail and they said it would be 20 minutes, and eventually when they decided they couldn't be bothered to make it, they just said they weren't doing cocktails anymore. We were there for a birthday party, about 15 people in total, all of whom had similar complaints. It wasn't busy for a Saturday night, yet we were made to feel like an inconvenience.

Absolutely terrible experience of booking a room for an event. Unorganised and flaky. Booked a room in February for May. Confirmed details with manager at the time of booking to bring in own food and drink for toast. Paid agreed deposit and heard nothing again. I was the one who had to phone and go in to try and confirm room plan, vendor delivery arrangements. Less than 24 hours before I'm told I cannot bring in food or drink for toast (corkage costs were already previosly discussed and agreed)and a deposit does not come off the total bill but is additional. On the day of the event, no one comes to help until I have to go and ask and then no exclusive bar provided in room as originally agreed. An absolute mess. If you want to have a stress free event. Avoid at all costs.

Went for Sunday Roast. Amazing food. Family friendly pub. Very cozy and table service. We went at 2pm, it was a good amount of people not too crowded.

Nice place to hang out with friends and family. It's quite spacious and has a dog friendly environment. The food is basic, but I suppose it is just a pub, therefore no high expectations. They have two sets of guest amenities. I have not visited myself, but we were sitting quite close to one and there was no bad smell, therefore I would assume they are regularly cleaned. The decor is quite interesting. It ranges from original fit out and ceiling elements. Added church doors and Asian decorations, real tree trunks with fairy lights help to achieve the mood. I can forget the large golden lion head as a fire place. Definitely nice place to spend the afternoon.

The burger is an absolute treat. If you eat burgers, try this one. Won't regret it. I've been to Ramsey Burgers too but I'd rate this burger better then that of Remsey's. It's that good.

I walked past fairly regularly during lockdown but had never been in until yesterday. We weren't entirely sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised!Staff were absolutely fab. Very friendly and couldn't have done more to help. Food was good. We got there for lunch at 1.30pm and as the afternoon and into evening came, the pub got busier with a good vibe. Kid friendly (although 3 steps into the pub so you need help with a buggy).Plenty of space and laid out well. Conservatory, main bar plus a back room so it didn't feel too overcrowded even though it got quite busy. We'll definitely be going back again soon - would highly recommend.

A few real ales. Nice atmosphere. Food looked good. Good live band last Friday of each month. Other live music events during non Winter months. Well served by public transport.

I absolutely love this place. The food is amazing and our cocktails were made by the book. Miguel looked after us. He was so professional and friendly and we had good laughs together.

A good family pub with a good atmosphere. Was a mixture of different age groups. Food was good. The Korean wings excellent. Burgers okay. Loved the old tunes they played. Dogs are allowed in and they even have a dogs' bar with water and biscuits for them. The staff all wear masks and the tables are sprayed and wiped down eveytime someone leaves.
