Had Dinner, food lacked flavour, not worth the cost. Servers and decor was nice.Had dinner menu, pasta sauce didn’t have much flavour but the seafood in the dish was nice. Ordered ‘Homemade bread and butter chocolate pudding and custard’. Have to say didn’t seem ‘homemade.’ Custard tasted like ‘ready made custard? ‘ The pudding was stodgy and not sweet. As above, decor and serving staff were pleasant but the food didn’t seem to match cost. This review is without prejudice.

We loved it here and would highly recommend it. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. They catered for my Vegan daughter in law, infact they couldn't do enough and offered her a fabulous choice. Definitely worth a visit. We dined on 1 February late lunch time.

The restaurant is nice and clean. The people are nice and friendly . The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. For an intimate night for two is ideal. I didn't give 5 start because even if the food is nice quality I do not like the menu that much. There aren't a lot of things I would eat. Not to my taste but probably amazing gor someone else. Worth to try anyway:).

The food here was gorgeous. Our whole party was really happy with everything they had. The chips were ridiculously good. They were clearly understaffed but still managed to give excellent service. Will definitely be coming back.

Wanted a nice romantic dinner with my partner. Reviews were very encouraging. Booked a few days in advance for a Sunday and had a look at their menu beforehand - menu was limited... however, their roast sounded nice. Was very nice weather so customers were sitting outside. We wanted to sit inside and it was completely empty. We walked in and I told staff I had a reservation. I did not feel welcomed by them, they seemed quite rude at the start. We got offered a seat and we politely asked if we could sit elsewhere as we didn't want to sit directly next to a window and they said no, it's the only two seater table (although the restaurant was empty, we were the only ones inside). Was disappointed by the food selection as I didn't really want a roast or anything else on the menu. Decided to order a pork belly roast and my partner ordered a pasta salad. Our dishes came and it looked delicious - see photo. All of it was so salty that I was unable to eat any of it. Pork was dry and struggled to cut it. Yorkshire's didn't taste nice at all and potatoes were salty and undercooked. Very disappointed.Sent the meal back and told them it was salty, they offered to take it off the bill which was very kind of them.Went home hungry. Will not be returning.

Just up by the top of the old walthamstow village and opposite the community hall you'll find the kitchen. Now with outside sittings with in the pedestrian area. However be aware of the W12 buses as they still access the road and sometimes at speed. We paid around £45 pee head with desert and a couple of cocktails each. Go during a week day as it will be quite and the outdoor seating will be available. Food intolerances catered for but limited you will need to ask. Staff are friendly and the food is nice.

We ate at The Kitchen one Saturday evening. The restaurant was busy, but not unpleasantly so. You do need to book. We were welcomed warmly and shown to a lovely table by the window. I ate confit duck as a starter, which had a very tasty Thai dressing, £8.50 if I remember correctly. For the main course I had Sirloin steak and fries, with green beans and fried tomato (£22), which was delicious. The wine is a little expensive, we drank a good Portuguese red at £22 per bottle. This was one of the cheaper wines on the menu. Service was excellent throughout, and the owner is open and friendly. All said, a really enjoyable evening.

We came here for the second time, and this time it was a midweek meal on a pleasant August evening. We were glad to get an outside table, and we started our meal with a lovely bowl of olives and a drink. Our order for starters seemed to be forgotten, unfortunately, but after a reminder they quickly arrived and were delicious - my partner's gnocchi with mushrooms, pumpkin and parmesan the star dish of the evening - and my garlic prawns on toast was also very good. The manager later gave us a large glass of red wine each to make up for the wait, which was a lovely gesture and very much appreciated. For mains, I had a really good, if unremarkable jerk chicken (I'd have had it a bit hotter) and my partner had the linguini, which she found a touch heavy and spicy when expecting a light sauce, but a really good dish all the same.Desserts were good (apple pie, and an Eton mess) and with the whole thing coming in at under £100 including service, we had a lovely evening and will definitely be back!

The small plates (Tapas) were delicious and fresh. I had the gnocchi with butternut squash and truffle,as well as the garlic prawns. Two of these dishes worked great instead of one main. A decent cocktail too. No photo of the food...I ate it too fast haha 😆
