Wilsons Fish and Chips in Waltham Forest

Over-Rated! Had many better chippy's! Large is equel to a small portion in most places.

I ordered a large skate and got two kids sized pieces with hardly any fish on them. 2 portions of scampi and one chips. £40. worst food i’ve ever had.edit : just pulled it all back up less than an hour later. never done that on my entire life after eating fish.

Excellent Fish n chip shop the food is just quality, fresh, cooked nicely not at all greasy I’m very impressed with Wilson’s and will only go there from now on great prices too, definitely great food!

Average shop. The food was decent, cod n chips is £9.50.. though it should really be £8.50 as you dont really get much chips.. 😒

To be honest I couldn’t give any star because their food standard quality was dropping very much. I got my chicken strips meal today for lunch as you can see the picture next to the reviews row from this .They gave me the old chicken that was re-cooked. This is the second times that I have this problem, first it was a fish & chips that I bought for 3 people and they were a bad smell fish and gone bad. Me and my family had a bad stomach like diarrhea so that makes us away from their shop for quite a long time. Today is happen again 😡, I paid for a good food and you get my money but why you gave me an old food🤬👎👎👎. No more again 👎👎👎

I drive from North to East London and must pass 20 fish n chips to come to my favourite. My brother in law and his wife came fromBournemouth last night so we suggested a takeaway from here. The fish and prawns were fresh, all cooked in a light non oily golden batter 😋. Our guests said it was the best fish n chips they’ve ever eaten. Being part Cypriot and a Wilson I am not biased, but it was truly stunning. Thanks guys, keep up the great standard!

They use to be the best place to get fish and chips from. But they have deteriorated so much in the last few months. They are very inconsistent on deliveroo. Sometimes they are open on there and sometimes they are not. When you phone them, their staff are incredibly rude to deal with. Their sausage is always greasy and skinny. They have really done down the pan.

Love their chips as they don't fry them with meat/ fish. Great taste!
