Wongs in Waltham Forest

I love this place. The food is good quality for the price. Not only that, but the owners genuinely care. I usually order my rice with no shrimp, but last time I totally forgot to add that requirement to the order. Imagine my surprise when the rice came with NO SHRIMP!!!! They remembered my order! Honestly made my day - I wouldn’t have been able to eat it otherwise. I’ve never known a takeaway to remember something like that - especially as it was entirely my mistake. I’ll never order from anywhere else. Thank you Wongs :)

The special fried rice was great, but I wasn't keen on the orange coloured Chinese style duck dish.

I ordered a Chinese for my children as a treat, whilst I was on a date night. On my return the chicken was pink, and hard. A metal staple was found in the chow mein. Most of what was bought was not eaten, but still both of my children had food poisoning, vomiting and stomach problems. I called to complain and was severely insulted by a women who has no customer service skills. Please do not eat from here. It has not passed food and safety standards obviously. I'm seeking advice from food industry in how to complain and report. Obviously none of my £45 money back.

Zero rating for food hygiene! I'm not surprised, it doesn't even look clean. I have never seen a hygiene rating sticker in their window. The good take aways on Wood Street display their hygiene sticker.

We've ordered from there a few times through Deliveroo and it's always been great! The food is exactly what you'd expect from a Chinese takeaway. Nothing fancy, but delicious and filling. Also that's among the few takeaways that say the food will be with you in 15-20 mins and it really does!Recommended!

I order with Deliveroo. Always on time, great-sized portions. I can't say i'm a connoisseur of chinese food, but to me, it's the best Chinese i had in London. Great and also good value for money

We've been ordering from Wong's for at least 10 years and it's still the most consistently good Chinese food in Walthamstow

A mainstay of my somewhat crowded life at the moment, Wong's is a place that has saved my bacon a number of times. It's the only place that stays open after 11pm anywhere in walking distance from my home, so I am a regular late night visitor.The food is exactly what you would expect from a high street Chinese takeaway, but it is swiftly cooked, portions are generous and it is all delicious. The Thai dishes are particularly good, and the house specials all seem to have very generous portions of beef, chicken, pork and prawns.

Terrible. Zero customer skills. Argues with them instead of trying fix things. I'm not an argumentative person but the woman who answers the phone got very angry over getting my order wrong. I tried reasoning calmly with her but she yelled at me and hung up. In conclusion & they've lost a customer. They definitely shouldn't have a business. Beware.

Extremely rude woman on the phone, for absolutely no reason she started to shout at me down the phone, everyone heard this on the phone and said to not to order from there, she then hung up the phone. I rang back and asked why she was so aggressive, she said if I was to dare to order from her again that she would spit in the food, an absolute disgrace, especially that we normally order £30+ from them and are regular customers. This is not the first time she has done this either, she was rude prior and we just ignored it. Makes no sense and is an absolute shame, oh well we are going to order from a place that do not spit in our food and do not talk to us the way she did !!!!!!
