OK I am biased as this is my local pub but I cannot recommend the Rose more; it’s what a community pub is all about. Well kept beer, good atmosphere, good entertainment, lovely team, and some great food (Calabash Tue /Thur & Saturday).

The friendliest place in E17. When there is live music everyone gets dancing. Nice theatre too.

Highly recommend the Cala Bash food on Tue, Thu and Saturday! We saw it being brought out one day and came back to try the following week - so good! Tasty, varied menu, big portions, great value and great service. The pub is great too of course!

Great pub but disorganised food arrangements. Overall this is a good pub. Great interior and good range of ales. Live music too on the night we were there.The Caribbean food on the menu looked good and looked better when it was being delivered to other tables. When we tried to order we were told we had to wait gor the chef to speak to us ! I had no idea what was going on or how long the wait would be so we left. A real shame.

Watched a wonderfully funny pantomime performance of Jack and the Beanstalk. Careful up the narrow staircase to the theatre; hidden neatly above the pub.

The pub is available for many gigs. Now they've started to offer Carribbean food for the guests. There is a very good selection of vegetarian food dishes on theen too.

Great traditional pub. Very friendly staff and always a nice relaxing atmosphere. Cheap decent beer. New beers/ales every week. The two I tried this week (Tod's Blonde and Drovers) were both beautiful.

Fantastic place maybe in need if renovation but still old fashion and fabulous.The staff is super friendly the prices reasonable and the Italian pizza 🍕 perfect.Love the live music 🎶 as well.
