Very cool curry house in Tooting. Chicken 65 and aubergine curry can't be missed. Mushroom rice and the mutton fry were great choices as well. Probably a good idea to book yourself a spot on weekends as it's always packed here.

Ask the waiters for recommendations, and you'll not regret your SriLankan experience. They are so knowledgeable, and so the Mutton Ceylon was a winner🏆. The lady owner always wears a smile. Why not if your food is delicious 😋. It's always been BYOB 👏 🙌 😎 🍾🥂🍷🍶🍻🍺

Great authentic Sri/South Indian food at a great price!!Highly recommend.All food is cooked fresh so you can also ask for less spice if you find some dishes too spicy too.

The best restaurant in London!!! We had the mutton kotu which was incredible. The chicken curry is the best I ever had! We had a vegetarian with us and it was the best food he'd ever had! You need to come here!!!!! Everything here is 110% delicious

The Apollo Banana Leaf always offered reliably delicious food at low prices. The service was sometimes shaky, but it was no-nonsense good food.Sadly, that no longer seems to be the case. There's been a hike in the prices that made our eyes widen since our last visit. I would have expected a large portion of rice for £4.99, but it barely did one person.Careful when going for naans as well. We asked for two garlic naans and were given chipatis instead. When we questioned it, they simply assured us it was the naans we had ordered. Good luck to anyone positioned at the tables right next to the front door, too; you can enjoy a nice gust of wind whenever anyone enters or leaves.At the current prices, I wouldn't rush back to ABL. You can get food comparable to theirs and have a better experience overall at a few of the other curry options in Tooting, at a similar price.

Great food and very prompt service. The value for money is brilliant. Will certainly be going back for some more.

Superb Tamil place. It's BYOB so feel free to load up at the Sainsbury's at Tooting Broadway (why they don't have a chilled booze section...?) Good selection of starters, main courses, all full to the brim for less than £25 a head including service. Highlights for me Mutton Rolls, Chicken 65 and Dosai filled with potatoes. Delicious.

Westernised Srilankan Food.Many Srilankan and South Indian Restaurants in Tooting but we chose this because it was the first one when we were walking from the hotel.Disappointed by the name, few to mention pepper chicken was prepared with coconut milk. Mutton roll and Kothu parota were the Srilankan traditional dishes but not the best in Apollo.Staffs were friendly.

Great Sri Lankan restaurant with fantastic food and very lovely staff. Definitely reccomend it.

The chicken tikka starter was generous portion as a starter , not bad flavour but the quality of meat( full of water, probably packed with soya protein to make it bigger!) and the very red colour of the meat spoilt it allFried king prawn starter were small and presented really poorly on a plateThe mutton and special biriyani tasted and looked exactly the sameWe asked for one of them biryani extra spicy only and we got them both extra hotI had to order mango drink for my partner to cook down the heat!!!The service was quick and nice to usBYOB is positive but the rest need to improve
