Caminata in Wandsworth

I visited here last year and then came again for my family and friends for dinner last night, and it was fantastic from start to finish. The service is wonderful and personable - The owner Giuseppe made a real fuss of my parents throughout the night and made sure all the tables were well looked after. They make their pasta fresh every day and it was delicious- and the pizza is the reason I came from other recommendations (best pizza in SW London!) It has an authentic Italian feel with a lovely intimate charm- I’ll definitely be back.

This is our new favourite local. The food is truly excellent and staff are incredibly helpful and attentive. Always worth a visit and so glad we live so close! FYI the pesto is the best I've ever had...

Fantastic. Lovely little restaurant with great service and value for money.

I eat here at least once a week, the place is always very clean and tidy, the food is really good and the stuff is friendly.

We expected the basic ingredients to be fresh, but this was poor throughout. The pasta was not home made and although Al dente, was overpriced and lacked any substantial flavour you would expect for a highly reviewed restaurant. Pizza was underwhelming, the flavours were haphazard and has caused an upset stomach for one of us. Would not recommend.

I can say with confidence that this is a brilliant restaurant! Came here for a date night and was very well looked after by the staff. The pizzas were proper traditional pizzas. The closest I have been to tasting Europe in the UK by far. A loverly atmosphere that made the experience all the greater. I look forward to going back for another meal!

My girlfriend and I visited this fantastic restaurant last night before going to see Palace at o2 Brixton. The food was incredible, the staff were fantastic, especially the host. I had the lamb Ragu and my girlfriend had the seafood linguine. The Home-made pasta was fresh along with all the other ingredients in the dishes, the flavours were wonderful. it was all absolutely delicious. I highly recommend. Definitely going again when we can to work our way through the menu!!

Caminata is mine and my boyfriend Mark’s favourite place to go - the food and the staff are absolutely amazing! We honestly can’t recommend this restaurant enough. We returned this evening and Giuseppe looked after us so well! No doubt we will be back again next week. If you’re in Balham or visiting you have to go - you definitely won’t be disappointed!

I had a really wonderful meal here back in December. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive from Giuseppe and his team. A food highlight was the truffle-stuffed burrata (a beautiful and indulgent combo). I’ll definitely be coming back(Pic was the duck breast special)

Lovely local Italian restaurant in Balham. Lots of choice on the menu, predominately pizza and pasta with a few other options too. The pasta is great, and most items reasonably priced for the quality. Nice selection of wines on the menu. Location is a short walk from Balham station, and although there is some outdoor seating the busy main road is fairly loud. Sitting inside however is lovely in a cosy atmosphere. Can highly recommend for a casual evening out for some good food and wine.
