Great wine in the self serve taps. Cocktails are not brilliant but do the trick. The oyster night is SO SO reasonable and could not recommend more! Tapas Dishes are really quite small for the price you are paying so don't go here for a full blown meal.Love the ambience, love the wine and will always go back. But not quite a 5 star for me!

Heidi is a sweet little resto bar just outside Balham Station. It has small selection of wines you can pour yourself by the glass if you’d like to try a few different ones. Heidi has an extensive selection of small plates that are great for sharing. In the summer they open all their doors and windows making them open to the street which can be quite busy. I would say it’s reasonabe/tipping onto a little bit pricier. It would be great for drinks and nibbles for a date.

Worst bottomless brunch I've had in London unfortunately. Their website said they do prosecco guns and cocktail fountains -- when we got there we were told there were no prosecco guns and all (?) the cocktail fountains were broken. When we were sat down we weren't served for 25 minutes, we had to go up to the bar and ask the waitress to take our order. The cocktails came in rounds and we were only allowed 3 cocktails each but the prosecco was bottomless. The cocktails took absolutely ages to arrive, our third round took about half an hour. Two of our guests are vegetarian and both their meals were served with chorizo on them. The other dishes were nice but not amazing. Wouldn't recommend for a bottomless brunch at all, we couldn't justify the service charge so we didn't pay it. We ended up leaving before our bottomless time was over.

1. Cant have a glass of wine unless I top up a oyster card or something. When I asked how much did I need to top up to get a glass he couldn't tell me. Couldn't tell us what drinks they did have. Looked at us as if we was asking the meaning of life when all we wanted was a drinks menu2. When the food come out the bread was burnt when we asked for one that wasn't chargrilled the girl looked as if it was a massive inconvenience. When the next bread came it was more cremated than the first. Apparently that's the way it comes so we are told.Staff were rude, and acting like sulky teenagers when all we wanted was a dinner that didn't look and taste like it had been cooked in a furnace.I could say so much more. The worst place I possibly ever been.

Amazing wine bar with great tapas style food.Highly recommend: pork belly, octopus, burrata. The wine machine is really interesting as well, they also have glass cooling machine.Price is about £35~40 per person, including drinks.

Beaut restaurant. Wide range of wine (which you can self pour from machines) & incredible small plates - recommend the pork belly, scallop ceviche and aubergine. Oh…and the marmite butter is so good, wish could use it on toast every day!

Always yummy food and wine but service can be a bit slow.

Great Sunday roast, and very reasonably priced for the quality. Wouldn’t expect it in a wine bar so was a pleasant surprise.Staff are very friendly.Setting is a little dark and claustrophobic, however outside seating is a nice bustling location (although on the main road).Great local spot.

Rather disappointed with our visit here. Staff was very unwelcoming and the manager seemed quite disinterested, even when we wanted to order.Food is really expensive for what it is and takes ages to co me out. Meals don't get served together either. I ordered the potatoes and the meatballs, potatoes came out after ten minutes, I never got the meatballs. My partner's dish came out about half an hour after my potatoes were served. I asked twice how long it'll take for the meatballs, and both times was tokd they'd be out soon, but after a full hour of waiting we really had to go and couldn't wait any longer. The manager was quite rude, she did refund me, but had a distinct "if you don't have time to wait, you shouldn't have ordered food" attitude. To reiterate, we had waited a FULL hour after ordering.

Go here for a great Sunday roast. Seriously. Went twice in January as they were doing £10 roasts. Bargain.Tried the beef, chicken and my wife had the pork. All three were delicious. My mouth is watering thinking about it now actually.Everything was seasoned well and the meats were all cooked really well. Can’t ask much more than that!Oh, and yeah they do a lot of wine. The card topping up machine thing is a bit lost on me, but it’s different. There’s a lot of wine and you can try a tiny bit before committing to a large glass. There’s a huge selection and the staff are friendly and helpful.Great addition to Balham!
