The best fried chicken in London. This Chicken Cottage is the flagship, and with the food and service provided you can definitely feel the difference compared to all others. Perfect for quick, cheap and tasty food chicken and burgers :)

Some of the worst chicken I've ever eaten and that's saying something. Hot wings have a flavourless and not spicy coating, the batter on the regular chicken is floury and sludge like, and the chicken itself has a terrible battery-farmed smell especially bear the bone. Avoid even if 8 pints and past closing time, please make sure to go home hungry rather than come here.

It looks like a flagship chicken cottage but it's literally the worst chicken cottage I've been to. Such a let down. All talk no action. What a joke shame on who ever the franchisee is. Rubbish fried chicken. Trust me I live right next to it and regretablly I've been there several times. The peri chicken from there is awful and so is the fried chicken. It looks the part but you will only ever get below average food from there 8f your lucky.

Disappointed , went to chicken cottage tooting after 2 years as was craving their hot and spicy grilled chicken . Ordered full grilled to take away hot . When home I was disappointed as 1. Chicken was not hot 2. Was under done rubbery was literally fighting to eat .Not happy chicken cottage .

Fast service and very clean environment. The food could improve the chicken wasn't chrispy and the coating was soggy. Good chicken stripe

This is my go to chicken spot, fully Halal food and it's always great! Grilled chicken burger is the best thing on the menu and the wings aren't far off either. Staff are usually super friendly and welcoming and they always look after us well. Would recommend visiting and you'll be going back regularly like I have for over the last 10 years!

Ordered bbq wings for take away. Upon arriving home (5 mins away), the wings were cold and I could tell they had just taken some spicy wings and doused them in runny bbq sauce.Chicken Cottage Tooting used to be one of the best spots for fried chicken for many years. However, more recently, the quality of the food has become poor.Don't bother with their burgers or pieces as they are often dry and the actual fillet is way smaller than the bun.1 star is for service. Don't become complacent. Fix up.

Enjoyed the meal with the family this evening, we ordered the gourmet burger meal, wings and whole grilled chicken, it was cooked to perfection. Only three star because of having to wait for the tables to be cleaned; quite greasy chairs too, so careful when sitting!

I come here fairly regularly for a take away and have done so for many years. The staff are always polite and it's always clean. I've only sat in once or twice. I always check my order before I leave (because i'm just like that) and everything is usually fine. Good range of products. I usually have a grilled chicken burger.Update 3 years later on 04/08/19So, I’m trying to be conscious about what I eat and now am mainly vegan but there’s the odd slip up- like yesterday when I popped to Chicken Cottage for a grilled chicken and some fries. I got home to find that I had half a chicken only. So I rang up today even though I didn’t think I had been charged for the whole chicken (the price on the recipe was cheap). The manager had picked up the phone and was charming. He confirmed I had only been charged for half the chicken and fries- ie items I had received but he asked me to pop in and as I had some chores to do in that area- I went in later.The manger, Fayaaz A.Q. was v apologetic and lovely and handed me a complimentary half a chicken. Such good customer service is rare. What great staff. Five star treatment for customers deserves a five star review. Thank you!
