Cocobananas - Brazilian Beach Shack & Casa Nortuna in Wandsworth

Terrible experience. The food is not bad, but the service is horrible. The old lady that took the orders is not nice and useless. We had to pay cover charge literally for nothing. No starters, no nothing... Did not split the bill correctly. The same lady rushed us to get desserts when we were not even done with our meals. Do not recommend.

Honestly one of the best experiences of my life!!! The food was a 10/10 and the vibes were unmatched. The owner was also kind enough to make us feel more special due to my birthday so I want to say thank you very much!!!

It was my partner's birthday and me being a Brazilian he decided to celebrate at a Brazilian restaurant. We called, booked a table for 4 on Sunday afternoon, went there and the restaurant was empty, I was already suspicious. Anyway, we ordered some drinks and started going to the buffet, you could see the food was not fresh. I served some.feijoada which is black beans with meat, I eat and I realized the food was off, decided to change the plate and put different beans, that one was even worst, it was smelling really bad. I called someone, this lady comes from the kitchen and she asked me to speak Portuguese, I told her that the food was off, she kept saying that was cooked on that day and I said this meat is off. She even didn't apologise and walked off. My partner went paid for 2 meals against my will and we left. It was the worst experience ever, I felt embarrassed to have my country flag at that place and if someone read my comment do not go there.

We had a birthday celebration dinner here.The food was delicious and the music was great.We had a wonderful experience trying all the different meats.The cocktails were perfect!!!The service was brilliant and the staff were very welcoming and helpful.We will definitely come back.

Do not take notice of anything below 5* for this restaurant.We celebrated a birthday here and wow did the owners and staff go above and beyond to provide the ultimate experience. Such beautiful souls and family like hospitality.The meat here is what you call PROPER, the Picanha steak special was out of this world. It literally melts in your mouth.This restaurant also services great cocktails and a variety of booze.If you're a meat lover and enjoy the sweats - you won't be disappointed at Picanha, Tooting.

Whilst visiting London with my partner from Scotland she booked us a table at this family run Brazilian restaurant. The owners Alex and Carol were so welcoming and the food was Amazing so fresh with so much flavour.The Service was excellent and great value for money I would recommend this to anyone looking for an authentic Brazilian culinary experience.When we finished our meal the owners even did a shot with us bothGreat hospitalityAmazing food 😍😍😍😍😍Thanks Again

Alex and Carol could not be more welcoming.Visited based on reviews and it certainly did not disappoint.Salad was fresh with a good selection of meats, they were succulent, tasty and cooked to perfection.Finished off with a 'shot' for the road!Thank you both for the great hospitality 👍

Mixed emotions about this restaurant, fantastic company - service slow - hot food cold - undercooked rice hard - pasta tough rubbery - beef to red for me, well done version burnt to cinder - lamb running blood like water, no alternative version on offer.On the bright side I managed to eat a hard boiled egg a chicken drumstick cooked just right - coleslaw and salad.Thank goodness they serve cocktails it made up for the disappointing food and snail like service.I was out with friends celebrating three birthdays so I had to be on my best behaviour and button my lip, didn't want to ruin the night for them - if I was out dining alone I would have walked out after 10 minutes of arriving 😅 trust me

Great service! Home cooking served with a smile and a great atmosphere. We like our meat temperatures very medium rare and they were extremely accommodating to say the least. Not a huge selection of sides if compared to another Brazilian carvery such as preto rodizio for a similar price there about. If your not a pork eater or you don't eat egg then the buffet is very limited for you as most of the salads and veggie dishes has pork, bacon and eggs mixed though it. Again great service and children friendly. Thanks again to the chef 😊 we'll see you again soon.

I've been here a few times and I can say that the staff have always been welcoming everytime I have visited and the food has always been great. Reasonable prices and good spot.We ordered the premium meal which left us stuffed as you do get a large portion of meat. The salad bar was very colourful and vibrant.We shared a sangria jar which was very refreshing!!Overall well presented and good food. Will definitely be returning soon :)
