Dip & Flip in Wandsworth

I had seen it pop up on my Instagram a few times so I decided to visit the restaurant. Absolutely amazing food, I had roast lamb sub sandwich with gravy for dipping on the side...I couldn't get enough it was to die for. The lab was so tender and just melt in your mouth.I booked for lunch as it can be popular place to eat.Staff was friendly, always attentive, welcoming.Definitely will be going back again. Highly recommended.

I spotted an online review of Dip and Flip years ago and have wanted to visit ever since. Never found time to get down to Battersea though…Chance to get one delivered whilst in Brixton last week too good to pass up.Really didn’t disappoint. Hands down one of the best burgers in ages.The roast beef on top was so good and the dipping gravy… 😻😻😻 Genius.Chilli cheese bacon fries on the side.Definitely finding time to go to Battersea now!

Everyone I was with loved it but they had the grilled sandwiches and I had the burger. I felt is wasn’t tasty but salty. Food came out quick and hot.

Firstly, I loved the service. The lady who served us had clearly taken the time to really, get to know the menu and this enhanced my dining experience. However, for a place which specialises in gravy - I really think it must be thicker. It should be luxurious and readily coat the burger, something this gravy did not. Also, the cheese and gravy chips? Should the cheese not have been melted onto the chips, rather than cubed? Rather odd as I hope the picture explains.

Food was great, staff were lovely, gravy is absolutely unreal!! It’s a must visit!

This is the ULTIMATE cheat day meal! The burgers are fantastic, the fully loaded fries with the chilli, bacon, cheese and gravy are out of this world, and the service is fast and friendly. Except for a sharp knife to make a couple of extra holes in your belt, what more could you want?! Highly recommended

Waiting staff are nice but this resturant is slightly claustrophobic and no effort has been made to the decor/vibe. The burgers are also disappointing, the meat is dry and has no taste. Pouring plastic cheese and gravy over everything doesn't make up for tasteless burgers, it's frankly a sloppy mess with no finesse at all. They have 1 mediocre half arsed veggie option. I know this is a burger restaurant but in the 2022, having one veggie option in Central London is just pathetic and ultimately loses clients.

Ordered a dip n flip roast beef burger. Too much flavours in a burger: melted cheese, cabbage slaw, pickles, patty and roast beef. I couldn’t even taste the gravy. It would be a better choice to go with a simple sandwich if you would like to taste and enjoy the gravy.

This place is AMAZING! Went for takeaway originally but since there was no one there, we decided to stay and dine-in. The staff had antibacterial and they gave us the sign up sheet for contact tracing so we felt they were doing their part in following guidelines. I ordered the patty melt by recommendation of my friend and it was SO GOOD! Juicy, meaty, melty deliciousness. The gravy is also tasty and the perfect complement to the sandwiches. I ordered sweet potato fries which were perfectly crispy yet soft.PS - we had it another day for takeaway and they didn’t include the gravy and it was not as good in general, so I highly recommend for eat-in if you can.

Great new style burger. Roast beef is tender and great meaty patty. Be ready to get messy. The chips is really crispy and good also. Wings are big (you get 3 pieces for small portiom) and good but too saucy for me.
