Franco Manca Balham in Wandsworth

The food is still very good, but service standards have plummeted over the past year. On our visit on 23 Jan at 2pm, the table next to ours was used on and off off by individual staff members; it featured a box of Sainsbury's doughnuts, a non-descript box with cold tobacco remains in it, and much more - see picture. After 45min we asked whether this table could be cleaned and were told that nothing would be touched as staff may want to eat more doughnuts or use the table for a break. Of course staff need to take breaks, but why use a table next to customers and leave it littered with this type of stuff? Not really the Franco Manca we used to know... What happened?

A really lovely Franco Manca. Excellent service and the staff are so lovely. It was a really busy Saturday and they found room for us and looked after us. Pretty much brilliant.

Food and service are pretty good. Not the biggest fan of the pizza with the Ragu on it, but the rest of the food was great.

Great atmosphere, super friendly staff, especially Monika who was lovely, attentive and made my daughter's birthday this extra special. Pizzas and lenonade were delicious. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

Been going here for at least 10 years. Pizzas very good, however service from one bearded individual is atrocious. We ask to sit at an empty table, only to be told - rudely - that it is reserved for staff!! We walked out. They don't do this anywhere else in Balham or even the world. When we walked past an hour later, customers were sitting there

Been let down by this restaurant twice. Once by takeaway, the second eating in. Both times the staff were unhelpful and a little rude. I usually love a Franco Manca, shame about this particular restaurant.

What an absolute delight this place is. Fantastically delicious pizzas, made in the kitchen and you can watch them being made. Friendly and accommodating staff. Great all round experience

Been to franca manca in oxford and couldn’t resist in London. Had just ran a half marathon and truly needed this boost. Always have a pizza of the week, or chef special and truly love it, great food.Pizza so well price and great service. Fast food and just a must go. Well priced and great pizza, can’t really get any better.Great variety of pizza, thin and great base.Would go back!

A good pizza place in Balham!I particularly enjoyed the Aubergine Parmigiana, especially its sauce: original taste!The waiting team is definitely warm and well mannered, really welcoming and kind.The pizza was well cooked, just a slight problem with the dough: I believe it did not rise enough, as I could taste some uncooked parts in it.A good spot for a pizza in Balham.
